I have a question for the ladies out there. If you are on the birth control pill does it effect your ticklishness? Also can it make a difference later on? For example if you were on the pill a year ago and then went on it again after a while can your ticklishness be affected differently now than then?

I never noticed a difference...

Bagelfather,

I never noticed a change. I was into tickling, and very ticklish before I took the pill, while I was on it for several years, and now that I'm off it. I haven't noticed any increase or decrease in how ticklish I am during the years. However, since the pill is designed to keep a woman's hormone levels constant, I guess if a woman was more ticklish during those hormone surges we get, then in theory I guess it could impact her ticklishness.

I'll echo tbbw here. I've been on the pill on a couple of different occassions in the past 13 years or so, and it has never effected my ticklishness in any way...whether on or off or inbetween, my sensitivity remained the same.

Now quitting SMOKING, on the other hand, increased my sensitivity (especially on my feet) by about 150%! Something to think about for the nicotine addicted ticklephiles out there. 😉

Hmmm, INTERESTING question...I do think hormones might come somewhat into play here, why?
Well, we all know about pheromones...We know that during pregnancy, when levels are all over the place, that women are more senstive.

I've been on the pill for 13 years and I didn't think it was possible but I know my sensitivity when BEYOND thru the roof when I started my peak (for most girls it's in their mid to late 30s) at age 35 for me, a few years back~so far it's still climbing...not sure whether the Pill has any direct effect exactly but it's definitely worthy of more research, me thinks...

XOXO

I dont know anything about the pill and such, but I do know that the hormones during pregnancy shot my ticklishness up through the roof and for some reason havent gone away, which I dont mind...lol
