Question regarding C4S

Is C4S requiring identification across the board?

It is in North Carolina but not sure everywhere.

Seems like it wpuld be an invasion of privacy.

I don't know for sure, but I'd expect not everywhere. Adult websites are doing this due to a series of states rolling out new legislation to require such sites to have more strict age verification procedures in place. While the sites could implement the higher level verification process for all regions, they are going to have a preference to only enforce it in the regions where it is required by law, as it greatly reduces their meaningful engagement traffic, and therefore their revenue.
