Sorry to post a thread here to ask a question, but I reviewed the FAQs area and didn't see this topic there. I may have missed it.
Given that I'm a new member here, is there any sort of general policy regarding thread necromancy? All these threads are new to me, however, if there is an unwritten rule/opinion about posting to an inactive thread, I'd like to know what it is before I go exploring and inadvertently bumping up threads that are considered officially 'dead'.
