Quick NEST Message from Max

I will respond later, perhaps tomorrow morning, with my NEST comments. Right now, I am home after a Fri to Mon weekend of Incredibleness. NEST has been getting longer and longer every year.

I have things to take care of in my Vanilla World (Hey isn't that a Super Mario Bros World?) so I am quite busy.

Just wanted to throw out a thanks to all those that contributed to make NEST 2005 a huge success. Thank you, Yaqi for your generous donations of DVDs and videos. It was truly wonderful speaking with you on the phone and catching up. Your name came up quite a bit and we missed your presence there. Also, a big thank you for Tickle TV for their generous donations from their collection of super cool vids, along with the special NEST message on your demo DVDs.

It's Producers/Friends like this that add so much to our event.

I met alot of new people this year, which is alway great. I love seeing new people come out to brave the Gathering.

As many have already said, it's more than just a bunch of people tickling each other. It really gets down to the core of what we are about: touching, getting close, laughter, feeling good, allowing yourself to get vulnerable for a time.

I gotta run. So much to do. I will comment and recap my thoughts about this weekend with the next 24 hours. Until then, I hope to read lots of posts tonight when I return.

Max you put it best with the words about feeling vulnerable for awhile. Cuddled up on Sunday night after a long day... it's been a long time since I've been in a place where I was able to feel completely comfortable "just being myself". Thank you.

kwil and I had a great time, as always. Thank you, Max, Jan, Mina, Dan, Mike, and everyone else who made this NEST a weekend to remember. As we got in our car to leave after breakfast, I felt as if I was leaving family; I then whined, "I miss them already!" and we hadn't even left the parking lot!

I know this is gonna come back to bite me in the you know where ...

Something that always happens during NEST weekend is we end up doing the tactile thing on and on through the day and night and I'm not just talking tickling. There is always lots of hand holding when walking down the street. We always end up snuggling with each other on the sofa, the beds, in the restaurants and the floor. And this isn't even about tickling. It's just snuggling.

Never in my life have I experienced a more snuggly group. This year the amount of snuggling was far above what we've had in past years which is amazing because we've always been a really snuggly group. The only thing I can figure is we had more snuggly people this year.

Sunday night POST-NEST Richard and I was walking to the restaurant with our arms around each other and then he escorted me to the van for our ride back to the motel holding hands. What a Gracious Gentlemen!

Even in the motel lobby people would sit down next to other NESTee's just for a snuggle.

With all that snuggling going on over the weekend, and then coming back to my "vanilla" world I find myself missing all that snuggling SO much. I guess that's why the Post NEST Blues hits so hard after the event.

I wanna go back to PHILLY!!!!

Ohh... Lite!!! I just LOVED it when I got the call from you Monday morning! Kwil and Lite had just left the restaurant to head home and hadn't been gone more than about 5 minutes when my phone rang. It was Lite and she said "WE MISS YOU GUYS ALREADY!!!" I know Sugar! I miss you too! It was GREAT to talk to you last night on the phone. It helped!!!

Ohhh... ummm... Since there are now pics of NEST does that mean NEST really DOES exist? LOL We changed our rules about pics a bit this year. We allowed some pics as long as everyone in the pics approved or they could move out of the picture. After the pics were posted there were some very rude comments made to IrishGirl in the chatroom the other night and therefore the pics were pulled. A few have now been added back but not all of them and they won't be due to the turkeys who tried to spoil the fun. The pics will be shared with NESTee's only from this point on. You have no one but those turkeys to thank for the pics being pulled.

That woman gave her SOLE (Pun intended) for us during NEST. Her laughter was such joyful noise that day and the pics were just priceless representations of her joining in the fun over and over and over. Both IrishGirl and Kitten really fills the halls with laughter along with many more Lees. Thank you ladies for being such great sports.

I need to ask where these pics are now posted. I'm very sad to hear about the comments made to Irish. My guess is that it came from some guys. Sometimes I am very embarrased to be a part of the male half of the species. We can be such idiots at times!

Drew and I just got home a bit ago. (For those who don't know, we stayed a couple extra days to hit all the used record and book stores in town.) I'll post more after we grab some dinner, etc. Just wanted to say a huge THANKS!!! to everyone who made it happen.

BTW, Max....You've GOT to talk to Mary! She attacked Drew again when we stopped in for b'fast before heading out this morning. That woman belongs with us! ROFL! Catch ya later.

I just love the line I heard her quote when she was standing at the counter after she first attacked me:

"Oh if you're ticklish, don't let ME know!"

She's such a sweetheart......she gave me and Ann hugs and kisses when we left Wednesday morning, we now officially have a bond together.

Missed NEST for the first time...

...and the last time!!! I got swamped with work and family stuff at the last minute a totally missed out on all the fun!! Won't happen again, believe me!! I missed all my tickle buddies and making new friends...NEST is always the highlight of my year. So Max, Jan, Josie, my mystery ticklee buddy...you know who you are, Shem & Nightfall, Jeff, Mkeemer and everyone...see you next year!!!
