Rambo is back

Idk what to think, some times its good to leave something alone and move on to fresh ideas.

dear god is this gonna be like commando? Has a family in the woods, bad guys kidnap family, one liners galore

Stallone has been workin on Rocky VI for a while, this may be a sign thats now certain

I remember the debate these movies caused and there were times alot of people thought it was mocking Vietnam veterans. What a coincidence this news for this movie came about shortly before or after Memorial Day.

They said it mocked? Im surprised, if anythin it was a critical analysis of war veterans, vets did come back messed up mentally, this was a fact. Rambo was like an anti hero, esp in the first one, yes he will killin a crooked cop but still, it was a cop.

My fave moment is the end of Rambo II
troutman-what do you want?
John Rambo-I want, what they want, and every other guy who came over here and spilled his guts and gave everything he had, wants! For our country to love us as much as we love it! That's what I want!
Troutman-how will you live, John?
John Rambo-...Day by day

While thats true, I think the arguement was that it wasn't a fair stereotype of how a vet would act, like a crazed animal or renegade. Though there are documented cases.

Awww come on people.

"If I can change....you can change!"- Rocky Balboa (to the Soviets after his bout with that russian fellow)

LOL, 😛

Sly was probably sitting at home thinking. "Jesus, i was in spy kids 3 for gods sake. My career cant end like this".

LOL! Probably. I believe he has a performance or two left in him. Its just a matter of getting roles that he would be good at. He could make a comeback at his age. Lots of actors have.

Heh, u blasted me for my obi wan mis quote so

"I guess what I'm trying to say is, if I can change, and you can change, EVERYBODY CAN CHANGE!"

I wouldn't say blasted you, since it was only one word off. And considering I saw this movie a LONG time ago, I'm glad I remember that much. XD

Im a huge fan of Rocky, got the box set although i am in anguish cuz rocky I is missing

Yey more proof that most of Hollyweird can't think of anything but repeating the same old stuff. Just like the as I saw the other day for the remake of "The Bad News Bears." Yet another movie that was just fine as the original version, not needing to be re-done.

Message to Hollyweird: MAKE MOVIES i CAN TAKE MY 10 AND 8 YEAR OLD KIDS TO!!! YOU'LL MAKE A MINT OFF OF PARENTS LIKE ME!

Guess that's why VeggieTales sells so well....

::😱ff soapbax now....putting down microphone::::

So you're telling me if Sly gave you the puppy dog eyes you wouldn't give him another chance, Hawkeye? 😛

Case in point, look at how many times texas chainsaw massacre was remade

Not really...I saw First Blood. IT was a good movie. I intentionally skipped the sequels. I tend not to like sequels very often sicne they mroe likely than not repeat the same jokes/plot as the original, without the same drive or pull.

Yo, Poe!

Did anyone else read farther down into that Yahoo story and see that Sly is still nursing his long-standing dream of a movie about Edgar Allan Poe? That could be interesting as long as he gives up his original ambition to play the part himself. Of course, he's too old for the role now, but will he realize that? (Kevin Spacey was too old to play Bobby Darin, but that didn't stop him!)

This also reminds me of an old joke about a film project which would star action heroes in the roles of great classical composers. They were all in attendance at the producer's office as he pitched the idea and told each of them they could play the composer of their choice. Stallone spoke up first and declared that he would show the world his gentle, sensitive side by appearing as Chopin in the movie.
"Fine," said the producer. "Who else is on board with this?"
Jean Claude van Damme said he wanted to try the role of Mozart and Chuck Norris got dibs on Beethoven.
At this point, Arnold Schwarzenegger got up from the conference table and headed silently for the door.
"Arnie, are you in?" cried the producer.
Arnold turned at the door and said simply, "I'll be Bach."

Stallone is also directing a bio pic investigating the feuds\death of Biggie and Tupac

Was that in this article and I don't remember, or did you hear that somewhere else? Or are you joking?
