that 2nd one's new to me, and it's so awesome, i love it, really cute. who's the artist for that one? and where can i find more of his work?

btw, that first one's by vlad, and as a friendly warning, he's get's peeved when people post his work without his permission, so be prepared for a verbal beating.

can you post his website's address? i simply love his work. glad to see someone who loves to see raven tickled as much as i. too bad in the 2nd pic we couldn't see both of her soft soles, but that's my new favorite pic.

Its funny how the only ones overreacting are those that would accuse me of going to do that and then joke about it by clearly making up things I never even said. Its trolling, plain and simple and you only got away with it because of my short absense. I've always said its fine if people want to share my work, only that they at least give a mention of who the work is by. Its something I think should be afforded to any and all artists, if possible.

I also said that if the person posting the work doesn't know who the work is by, but somebody else does, that someone should say something. Not just for the artist's benefit, but as a friendly service to others who may want to know where they can find more of that person's artwork and who they are. Bignorm did that, so theres no reason for others to be causing a commotion here over nothing serious.

Its actually very trivial and I'm more honored than peeved at any rate. In fact, what happened here, minus the trolling, is a perfect example of how it ought to be. It was never a complex or demanding suggestion to begin with. Its as simple as saying "hey, thats so and so's work" and leaving it at that, or giving additional information if people ask for it.

Its just as much a service to the unawares of our community as it is to the artists themselves. And I don't see why anyone would complain about something thats simple and benefits both. 🙂

I couldn't be more happy with how this went down, otherwise. 🙂

Matthew, I've joined your Raven group. I'd appriciate the approval. As I will be having more artwork of Raven it seems you would need/want to know, when that happens. 🙂

I have my own group, so I know how keeping check of things is important.

Your post on the previous page has been removed. The reasons are twofold. First, it was rude, and second, it was baiting. I saw no purpose in that post other than to either make fun of Vlad or bait him into an argument. Whether or not you agree with his stance on the sharing of his pictures is irrelevant; they are his, and he is free to do with them as he pleases.

For the record however, again, I don't just feel that way about MY pictures as if they are more special than everyone else's or something. Thats an unfair assumption that is not true at all. All that I've ever said about the issue of credit was for everyone as well. I feel its a common courtesy that should be extended to EVERYONE, not just myself. I mention myself specifically only as a matter of fact and as a request, not a demand or order. I realize it can and sometimes is difficult to place a name with art, especially if you don't know who the person is. Some past circumstances were reoccuring, so to say I have never been angry about this at one point and time would be a lie, and I'm not going to lie.

But things are much better now and talks like this from me are rare or few and far between or don't happen at all as the values I've helped instill on the matter are evident. I see more people accrediting art or trying to, and others, namely new members or unawares, are benefitting from this information.

What I am doing/saying is in an attempt to try and get the userbase fimiliar enough with the individual artists over time so that in the future theres smoother communication and movement of material amongst the community. Anything that can bring the artists and their fans/potential fans closer together is a good thing and is ultimately nothing to sneer at.

I don't expect people to be as passionate about art as I am, especially if they aren't artists or contributors themselves. I can understand that, but theres no point to impeding the process or mocking it, either.

I've actually thought of that before, as I like Dorothy. But then I figured she's an android and doesn't feel physical sensations. At least there was nothing in the first season to suggest that, anyway, save for emotionally.
 
Yeah, thats true. An android is different from a regular robot, and the original idea in having created them (in sci-fi anyway) was that they would be of a higher existance than a common droid. The idea was that they would, eventually, have built-in emotions and would be capable of realizing physical sensations like hot and cold, soft and rough, etc.

I don't know, it just seems a little quirky with Dorothy. She definitely does have a personality to her, so maybe theres hope for this yet. Obviously it would be alot easier to come up with ideas if she was human.
 
ya, just like those pics of kosmos from xenosaga. maybe Norman or The Negotiator can install a sensory chip, and be testing it by tickling her feet. like he said, a guy can dream. but i like dorothy, she's really cool. still angry big-o was cancelled after 1 or 2 seasons. that show had so much potential.
 
Are you sure it was cancelled and didn't just reach the final episode?

Yeah, a sensory chip is a good enough excuse I guess. Dorothy has a dry personality, but its there.

"You could try, but I doubt you'd be able to lift me."
 
ya, i believe i saw every episode and none that appeared to be the series finale.

but i like dorothy's dry personality, humorous when it's not meant to be.
