I'm hoping this message won't cause any trouble, but I need to ask a few questions before I post anything else to the site. I'm an amateur cartoonist (not terribly good, I'm afraid) and I'd like to experiment with tickling imagery. Like many amateurs these days, I base my drawings on anime/manga characters.

The problem is that I usually draw "kawaii" or "moe" females, the sort which combine both adult and child-like characteristics. I'd like to get a clearer impression of what's allowed on the site before I proceed any further.

I've read most of the threads regarding "underaged" tickling art, and the consensus seems to be split down the middle. I also looked through the Huge Anime Tickle Thread and noticed there were a number of drawings featuring moe and chibi-type characters (although the majority seemed to depict adult women).

Could you give me a little more information on what is considered acceptable here? I really don't want to step on anyone's toes by posting images that the community might find offensive. Here's an example of what I usually draw (non-tickling, sorry). Please let me know if this kind of character would be permissible on the site, if drawn in a "tickling" pose:

Welcome to the forum, and thank you for your question. I am not highly familiar with anime or manga artwork, so another staff member may be better suited to answer this, but I will try.

The art forum rules, which are based on current US law, state that "Posting pictures of animated, drawn, or otherwise imaginary/fantasy individuals under the age of 18 ("minors") in graphic positions, situations featuring sex acts or borderline sex acts, and/or containing sexually explicit material are not permissible" and include foot worship as a borderline sex act.

In sum, if you feel that the character would appear as an underaged person to a neutral observer, it should not be posted here; otherwise, it should be fine. The sample character you provided looks about 12 years old to me, but in cases of anime-type art, we are more inclined to delete images containing nudity and immature sexual characteristics, but more inclined to give the benefit of the doubt with non-nude characters or those with more-mature body types.
