I will, from time to time, start a private conversation with a female.

I suspect that that is the norm. How refreshing it would be to have some lady approach me first!

I always wonder what am I doing when I start conversations. I'm sure other women feel the same because you don't know if the person is going to be nice to you or just too much!
Men especially seem to be overly possessive and sometimes just crude. Yes this is a place to talk about and share our thoughts on fetishes in particular tickling of course but if the conversation gets fun and sexy you can still talk that way without being gross or sleazy. I love talking dirty *blush* lots of women do but please try and be nice to us at the same time?
Sorry I didn't mean to rant it's just why I feel like I don't talk that much one to one at times

Woman are usually against taken the first move. That's just how they are... at least the women I know... I tell them it's the 21st century, not the 1960s. Women can make the first move. So I think it's partially because they don't like making the first move, and partially because guys on here are creeps so they like to see how they'll talk to them before trying to talk to the guy.

I agree with Lisa, sometimes you found men that are just not nice. Everybody seems to be good around here. And I have started a couple of conversations through messages as well.

I think it's all about be a gentleman always. If you are polite and sweet any topic could be discussed.

Statistics state that, at least in the world of relationships, it’s more likely to fail if initiated by a female than a male. But I’m unsure if that’s taking into account simply history, and it isn’t 100% for a reason. 😉

I’d say go for it if you want. Whether or not if it works or fails.

Personally, I’ve found males - with a few troll creep exceptions - to be overly polite and passive. Nothing wrong with that, of course, but as a brat, I’m sometimes pushing the boundaries just so I can find how far I can get. ;p

So how does this play into your Ler role? I would think that this would be a positive asset. I can see the "polite and passive" aspect as a general introduction in a relationship... and now that the 'honeymoon' is over...
