General computer question, so nothing.. personal, even though it is about my computer..

It's just a question about the computer itself.

I can hopefully post it here.

This computer is several years old.

I have it plugged into the original power supply/surge protector, etc.

I'm using the computer with the plug.

The battery, however, says.. 2%.

According to a few articles I read.. it is okay to run a computer while plugged in, even with a low battery power, as long as the computer stays plugged in.

Is this okay? As long as I keep the computer plugged in.. even if the battery is low?

I'd appreciate thoughts and advice.

Thanks.

You can't do any harm to the computer running it at low battery while plugged in. There isn't much harm you can do even if you let the computer run out of power by unplugging it and draining the battery.

Thanks, happy.

I appreciate it my friend.

Hope all is well with you.

No problem, always happy to share what knowledge I have. Things are good, hope the same for you.

Thanks. happy/

Glad you're good.

I'm okay, thanks.

Take care, my friend.
