Real life begging: "I am too pretty for jail"

Honestly, this story sounds like the beginning of a good porn video.

A woman gets arrested for drunk driving. It's bad, it's irresponsible, sure. But it is sadly common. Here is the twist though: instead of taking the adult route and accept responsibility for her wrongdoings, she starts to beg, probably due to intoxication. And among the many (wrong) reasons why she should be let go, she invokes that her precious self is (her own terms) "too pretty for jail":

This is hilarious, a bit sad, and kinda hot at the same time. One could imagine how this could veer into the territory of the "woman in prison" genre. Also, the cruelty of some of the comments at the bottom of the vid is absolutely delightful, especially those posted by females :blaugh:

I almost felt sorry for her at first, thinking, ok, she's drunk, we all say stupid shit sometimes when we're drunk. Now she's got this internet thing she's got to live down the rest of her life, on top of the already-apt punishment of having to go to jail, have it on your record, insurance issues, etc.......

That is until she came out with the whole "I'm a thoroughbread white girl...." Cop: "What is that supposed to mean?" "You're a cop, you know what that means." Not a good look. People don't understand the damage they do to all of us when they come out with shit like that.

Hot premise for a fantasy, for a Russ Meyer movie, or for a tickling video; sad and ultimately pathetic to watch it play out in real life. As you say, Buggy, you have to just grow up and own up in a situation like that. Anything you say can and will be used against you, and that includes releasing the footage to the world and making you into an internet joke. That's why she lost her job.

It's been a long time since I was able to say this to you, but I pretty much agree with everything you wrote, there :toast:

I wouldn't take to heart what she said; not only was it drunk talk, she's not representative of anyone... except maybe drunk people :blaugh:

Really? If a long time means last week, then I guess it has been! (check your post history! 😛

I remember when Paris Hilton was taken to jail in handcuffs crying she should not have to go to jail.

Remember OJ crying and driving 40 mph down the highway tryna get away from cops

Hell yeah, in his white bronco cryin and sobbing on the phone with the police saying he was gonna kill himself and "I can't go to jail, man."

Maybe it's because she was drunk, but that was a pretty pathetic attempt to get pity. :blaugh:

i agree with this comment

I should rewatch the images 😛 The irony is that he did go to jail eventually for a totally separate case (I believe it was kidnapping?)... and by the accounts I read he had a great time there.

Of course, he was treated like a celebrity in jail and IRL he had no money so I mean, jail definitely sounds like he lucked out

What does being "Pretty" or the "Valedictorian"" have anything to do with her being guilty of drunk driving?

If the girl did the crime, she did the crime.

She had toe consequences of her actions.

(shrugs) I say make her pay a fine with monthly payments over several years instead of putting her in jail and making her the burden of the tax payers.

Some seem thoroughly confused by a thoroughbred

She was never actually stuck in jail. (just panicking).
Google estimated the minimum jail sentence for a DUI in SC at a grand total of 72 hours.
The 33 year old Louisiana State University female just got a small bail amount and bonded out right away.
Nobody considers the "thoroughbred" realtor in resort Hilton Head Island & Beaufort County SC jail part of the "women in prison" genre.
Daily Mail caught her 10 days later driving with a suspended license, but unfortunately the resort area cops weren't patrolling so no additional jail.

The viral "adorable", smiling 19 year old female mugshot, drug dealer would be a relevant example of the "women in prison" genre (if you insist).
She is facing 5 years worth of mandatory minimum prison time for around 100 grams of various drugs.
The female drug dealer, caught in the Texas A&M area, is related to a DEA agent.
Daddy bailed her out on a $39000 bond.
Bondsman only charge 10-20% $4k-8k.

Source 1 cites the trial date set for 45 days after 2-3 years docket backlog.

Source 2 cites her facing the mandatory minimum of 5 years in prison.

Funny how fact can deflate a sweaty-palmed fantasy so quickly.

I really felt bad for her... until the thoroughbred comment. I don’t want to know what she meant.
