Now that the real refs are back the NFL season can begin. Everyone can blame the replacement refs all they want for Green Bay getting robbed, but several people can be at fault. Rodgers said it best that they (Green Bay) should never have been in the position for it to come down to one play. Herm Edwards said a good one too, the number one rule for a defensive back on the last play of the game is to "knock the ball to the ground". Removes all doubt, no int, no td, nothing. Game over. Period. If Green Bay had done that instead of trying for the endzone interception that would have meant nothing anyway, the great robbery would have never taken place. So to paraphrase Vince McMahon, "Green Bay screwed Green Bay".

Now if only they could fix Madden 13..

I can't quite agree. If the Green Bay defensive back wasn't pushed down by the receiver (another bad call, or non-call, by the replacement refs), maybe he could have knocked the ball to the ground. And it wasn't like that play was the only one where Green Bay was screwed. There was also a horrible pass interference call against them, that one where the Seattle receiver climbed up the Packer defender's back and the call went against the defender (!), and a questionable roughing the passer call. Of course, Seattle also got hosed on a bad pass interference call that led to a Green Bay touchdown.

It seems like everybody is focusing on the last play and overlooking all the other atrocious calls in that game. Rodgers and Edwards are letting the replacement refs off the hook too easily, IMO.

Everybody is focusing on the last play because at that point nothing else mattered. If Green Bay had followed the basic rule, this conversation wouldn't be taking place. I do agree there were some horrible calls that game. It is what it is and it's over now. Maybe the NFL can get back to business now. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season.
