I've never been to one, but I really want to. I've seen videos of tickling in stocks. Do they always have this? Has anyone ever been to a fair that has?

I also saw a comic that featured a tickling booth and thought it would have been a great idea. Idk if theyre real though..
 
The ren fair videos are mostly Italian, I assume they're far more laid back with those kind of things.

As for a tickling booth, that'd probably be something you and friends would just need to up and do one day. Probably for charity or something. I'd advise having several large men for 'security' around while you were doing it, though.

I think there was actually only one person who did this, and I guess it had to stop because people didn't know they were filmed or something like that, but I could be wrong.

I've been to millions of ren fairs and never seen something like that.
 
The RenFaire is currently in town in Atlanta. I really would like to get a group of us down there for some tomfoolery! LOL
 
Oh, but to answer your question, I pretty much have tried to get someone to pounce on me in stocks at a RenFaire. It does happen, for about 10 seconds until I get embarrassed and run escape. LOL
 
The only tickling I have seen at a Ren-Fair was kind of funny. Two actors, a master and a wench were having an argument. He raised his hand as if to strike her, she went to the ground in a ball and in an attempt to get her up, he started tickling her with a stick he was carrying. She fought like hell for a while then gave in. I have not seen a tickling booth or someone being tickled in stocks though.
 
I would feel awkward if I was getting tickled in public in front of a ton of people who I didn't know lol. Never seen something like that though.
 
No they dont all have them which sux. I went to one in another state try this on for size: They didnt have girls gettng their feet tickled, but they had paintball? I wrote tot he place & complained.
 
Nebraska's Faire is this weekend. I'll look for it again, but we never have laughing stocks here....

You can find some good renfaire tickling photos by googling The Nottingham Players. They seem to be a travelling troupe.
 
Honestly, someone would just have to go DO IT THEMSELVES. If you're waiting around for someone to just decide to do it.....it'll probably never happen.

Go sign up for a renfaire, as a booth with a stockade, build the stockade, get costumes, etc. etc. the whole nine yards.

I have seen these questions asked...someone even asked it on the youtube channel video response.

If no one takes the initiative, it ain't gonna happen on it's own.
