In ticklegal's attempt to get me "back in the swing", she's told me to offer my view again on this board on matters of such ilk. I simply think I'll bore people and have stayed away recouping. But this seems as good a place as any to see what I can offer.
Renfaires......(sigh)...I'll post for probably what will seem like the umpteenth time to some.... sorry.
DVNC was a little incorrect about no clips being online- my photos were the first ever posted online, and they were of renfaires. Some of my films were bootlegged many years ago... others are being released now by us. As far as we know, we were the first to do any act like that... and we certainly DO have video clips on our site (see below). like it or hate it, our site was (is) vastly different. Unlike other sites cropping up and/or coming back and whatever- our site is all original, and the material on it is original as well- not using other's stuff or "borrowing". Also mentioned was Clueless Joe, and materials that implied may available from renfaires and such, etc... Joe was at one time a personal friend- I've already posted here in the past about this.... all I have to say on that subject anymore is that it's easy to steal other's material and put it in collages- or even on your website- and get all the credit. It's much HARDER to make that material yourself and bring it to full blown life.
I'll start this post a different way this time- if you want only good stuff, then skip to the bottom.
Just like everything in life- there is an up side, and a down side... this will be the downside, more or less fact vs. fiction. Then let's just keep it private. Why do I always say that? Simple.
The Fetish world and FAMILY world should not mix...
.... nor more than we should take tickling into a Day Care Center...
Why?...well, very sadly, some guys out there just don't "get it". They ruin it for all when they cross some forbidden lines at faires- thinking it's a "tickle fest" just for them or something like that. It seems if a pretty girl is involved, IQ's suddenly drop.
I've had guys come up to a 14 year old girl in stocks, posing with HER PARENTS, and the guy asks "Hey-have you ever been tickled on your feet to orgasm? Can I try?". Can anyone here condone that action? This was in full public, sending her parents right to the Faire management office..... his wonderful defense to the management and parents? He told them that I made Tied and Tickled magazine and have stuff all over. Really nice way to thank me for what I've done, this is why I come across jaded at times. In the long run he's ousted, actually arrested, and our act suspeneded for several weekends. Believe it or not THIS is common and has happened to us in a variety of ways that I will not recount.
What is reasurring is that we have a very solid reputation after two decades and are very well recieved, in demand most seasons, and I also teach classes about characturization and improv for those faires and others who really wish to join.
Some guys go there, when they finally track us down, and expect us to do a "command performance" or something- dictating to us what THEY want to see. Usually they get highly offended if any guy would ever be locked up (as we all know, in the real middle ages, only extremely pretty girls ever got locked in stocks- never a man or an old or a fat person- just pretty, topless girls...oh yeah, and in high heels and fish nets)
And many guys spend their entire season just trying to track ME down at faires- and it's getting harder to elude them after 22 years.
Imagine if someone came to YOUR place of work and asked such things about orgasms or acted in such manners? And everyone stared at YOU!
What used to be fun has, unfortunately by the internets hands, turned into an annoying cat and mouse game of trying not to let information on our whereabouts slip out- as well as keeping others at bay as far as copyright issues about our act (don't ask because I've proven the issue many times over and won't argue about it anymore- nor fill up TMF space with such arguments- and promise I will just close the thread, thanks). FACT: last year, for the fourth time in as many years, we had to sue for copyright about our act- and won.... again..... and some people no doubt are hurting due to it, and I HATE that. But they tried it as a fetish act- even using MY reputation to attempt to gain entry. I cannot let fetish folks come into a FAMILY faire and ruin the act for myself, my troupe, visitors, and others- plain and simple. Anyone with any intelligence and honor can see that point.
Others, who are smart and wish to make an enduring act with historical aspects, for the time era we use as well as colonial and civil war, have contacted me and I've given written permission to do a similar piece, based on guidelines... and often even made stocks for them and other props. I've even trained goats for them as silly as it sounds. So there's a right way to do things- and most definitetly a wrong way.
"Canelli" for example, and the guys behind it, went about it as wrong as you can can get> it's well known how long I'd done the original act. They contacted me. First plying me for information w/o telling me what he was going to do- essentially copy my act and stocks to some degree (he couldn't). NO one should condone that- then stealing and copying (right down to the toe bars, and as horn-blowing as it sounds, I'm really NOT trying to boast... but toe bars are NOT in history and are an original creation of mine going back to my first published photos of them in 1978) a set of stocks I used (again, I have photos of my original). That's underhanded and sucks. Be original for a change. What they do is NOT historical, nor even in the interest of the Family based public. Canelli is purely for fetish. Anyone who supports and condones their actions best stay faaaaaaaar from me- they can perhaps travel to Italy and stay there with them.
Every time the renfaire subject is brought online a whole new wave of tickle folks appear and run out all over the place ridiculously seeking "tickle stocks" and thinking that EVERY faire has this act of public tickling for sexual purposes- some even ask for me by name- some find me. We've done the HISTORIC act since the late 1970's, it's not for fetish sake- very accurate in many cases, and many other tortures are used. Both women AND men are arrested. It's a very hard act to do, as well as follow- you've GOT to be a great masochist/actor to do it... great with the expecting public and comfortable with large, hot, tired crowds... and even just thinking about when you're in a heavy wool outfit in 106 degree temps- not to mention goats chewing your feet at times and kids tossing soda in your face!
And you've got to be ticklish - not a faker.
Simply remember this: It's NOT a fetish world out there, please- it's a FAMILY based faire.... please don't mix the two. Some try, most fail. Some go to jail. It's happened. People at faires, and those that run them, are NOT stupid and are very aware of the Fetish aspect of things- especially when 45% or more of their visitors are from the s/m, d/s, and bondage worlds (ironically, I've NEVER had any trouble with those of the s/m world, gay world, lesbian world, or bondage world- only ticklers! It seems the others have better respect and etiquette).
Remember also that some of the people visiting may be YOUR family!
I swear if it were in my power, in a perfect world, and I could trust everyone into this commmunity to act responsibly, I would invite more people to see us (I invite a few select folks). But this "aint" a perfect world (the best I can do is invite to our theme events, which are much better anyway). And the sad truth is most guys think with their little pee-pees... and will say anything, do anything, to get some tickling action. Even if it means hurting others. Lately, some women have joined those ranks.
Not all people are like that- and I'm certainly NOT suggesting you or anyone here is... but those are just the facts, M'am!
UPSIDE:
Ok, I know I sound down in the mouth about it when I speak of reality - life is simply not all fun and games and orgasms. But I'm really not down about it at all. in fact, the stuff thats happens at our faire appearances are what dreams are made if- and we'll have some true stories on our site (as I piece it back together). Example: after hours is awesome... and I've had some of the most ticklsh victims in my life at faires- of all ages and types.
The torture is real- 100%. Of course visitors do not get it as bad as our troupe members (or friends we pick out) get it... well, not always that is... but some times... yowser... some times they get it just as bad- but still NO lines are crossed. I've had some visitors locked in for 15 minutes... and some for 3 hours! People we invite can use their cameras (other visitors are not allowed to film us for obvious community reasons)
Some very funny, and erotically ticklish, things have happened over the years. like when the goats winch/leashes broke and the goats went after feet NON STOP and there was no way to stop the licking/tickling... and the audience just cheered on the GOATS!
Or the time two dancers at the faire were convinced that what we did was faked somehow- and defied me, and even made me promise!, to lock them up for the entire day- cause they claimed they could escape- and just leave them at the public's ticklish mercy: which I did... and after 30 minutes they wanted OUT! Tears, begging... But being a gentleman, and true to my rep- I kept that promise. Even tossing in the fact that the goats would be paying them a visit in the afternoon... their faces are wonderful!
In a more creative moment, I've had the stocks loaded onto the back of a mule drawn cart, and pulled about the shire for the day... all the while the poor victims are locked in the stocks facing out the back... and kids and adults trailing them, following them with feathers, matches... even goats trail them! And at each stop a crowd gathers to... well, you know.
We've even had a marriage proposal take place in the stocks! ... of course there were some things being done to him at the time to help convince him (lol)... but he turned the tables on her when, at the end of the following season, they came back on their anniversary and he had her "arrested" and carried to the stocks- BY HER OWN BRIDESMAIDS, who were waiting... until she made some...ah.... "promises" of her own! and they all tickled her out of her mind.
In our story lines we've used bastinado, heat, itching powder, pelting, drubbing (dousing), real hot foots that the audience lit and counted down... and of course, real tickling to intense levels. I've also met others from faires who joined not only our act, but also our escapades in this scene
privately.
So to finally answer your post- yes, we've captured much of it on film. I guess you've haven't looked at our site, because at
www.ticklepalace.com we offer our first videos of it. There's a ton of people on it- we'll be changing the clip to represent that later. To remain in order, it's some of our ealier stuff, with perhaps many more (20 years worth) to follow if we keep the site going and interest warrants.
Remember though- this is REAL. Not models. Not technical wonders. Not show girls faking it. Just every day people. Some are really pretty, some are not... there's some guys in it to for the ladies out there... as well as some intense action (we're saving most of the overly intense stuff for another project). It's also in public- it's improv and not really staged, not the torture at least (there are some storylines). Also note that the Sultan will NOT release any first time video without a certain number of sales up front.
If you seek 100% really consentual and really ridiculous PC material, this is NOT for you.
