Report-Mike Brown New Lakers Coach.

I dont have a link, but I just read on Fox Sports breaking news, that Mike Brown has been hired as the new coach of the Los Angeles Lakers. The hiring was expected to be formally announced at a news conference later today.

Bad move by the Lakers in my opinion, Brian Shaw was the best candidate and the most intelligent choice, and its surprising they decided against it since they usually like to stay in house

I have no idea on what to think of this. I do not like the hire personally. Mike Brown is a regular season coach. Now he has the premier job in the NBA. I guess the Buss family wanted to move away from the triangle, which is the only logical explanation as to why they didn't hire Shaw.

I, for one, am not excited about this hire at all.

and add to the fact that Kobe was not involved in the discussions in any way means this hire is a powder keg waiting to blow
