No, because it was essentially the same game as Resident Evil Zero.
 
Yep. Almost the same exact game, with the exception of graphical upgrades (of course) ... And a few tweaks here and there.

If you ask me though, RE0 was the worst game in the series. Just my opinion, lol.
 
ok i can say that RE0 did sucked but 1.5 was cool but overall resident evil 2 kicks ass but still capcom should do something about 1.5 but i guess it's no big deal.
