Engineer, robotics expert, special effects wizard and Mythbuster Grant Imahara has passed away at age 49.

I remember watching him on BattleBots and later on Mythbusters when I was growing up and more recently White Rabbit Project. These shows captured my imagination and fueled my interest in science.

He will be dearly missed. Peace and love to his friends and family during this difficult time.

Damn that's so sad.

I don't know much about him but I did watch mythbusters a bit and it is very disheartening to see such a lovely person go. All the sympathies to his family and friends.
