At a New Years' party somewhere, we come upon a pair of fine females in fancy dresses for the occasion. One, well, she might've been there for pleasure or possibly a little business...in any case, Kara imbibed a little too much and...
...let's just say Marina, also at the party, got a little inquisitively playful. 😉
Marina lets the woozy redhead splay across her lap, takes a glance at her companions little mobile device and giggles a bit at the list of New Years' resolutions she finds written up as reminders. Playfully, the tanned girl applies some leftover party streamers to Kara's arms and ankles in response to what she reads aloud on the device balanced upon some crimson-painted toes.
And then...well...the aqua-haired and aquatic-themed Marina figures she'll do a little writing to more permanently remind Kara of one of her already somewhat-broken resolutions. She slips off her new friend's heels and out comes a marker...
Plus a witty selfie for the new year. Or maybe it's a 'footie'? ^^

A cute little idea that came to mind a few days back that I kind of rushed to get together for the celebration, teased last night (on dA). Just a pair of lovelies in party dresses, one getting a bit creative to show just how RESTRICTIVE the other's planned resolutions are. 🙂
Kara (still fairly new, possibly a freelance reporter-type) looks like she's having a good time. Marina, one of my oldest OCs (and actually hasn't really been seen at all since a failed Halloween pic two years back), makes a nice showing too for once...maybe she'll get some art soon. Anyone complaining/comparing her (due to name) to a certain other character-who-always-has-the-same-I'm-sexy-but-embarrassed-expression on her face in every official art can put their complaints and then their head into a bucket of water. 😛
As a minor thing, there's one tiny detail in this pic that I really (self) enjoy how it came out, if you can guess it...
Also, I kept a version without the dialog/text and drawing markings (showing off Karas luscious soles cleanly) if its desired to be seen.
