My waiting is finally over. As I watched the Blazers crush the Sacramento Kings tonight I seen what I have not seen in years. I saw team play, commitement to good defense which leads to easy scores on the other end, a rookie named Greg Oden who played his first game as a Blazer and showed everyone why he was a first round pick (number #1 in the 2007 draft), a new "spanish" addition named Fernandez who played like he was filled with the spirit and skills of Pete Marivich (watch the ESPN highlights tonight...you will see what I mean) and I saw a sold out crowd that belives in their team once again!

Yeah, I know. It's only pre-season, but I still saw the spark I have not seen in a very long time and I am excited and hopeful about this season.

Return to Rip City baby! GO BLAZERS...
