Rex Ryan has a foot and tickling fetish

It is a personal matter, actually. But obviously the public loves to hear about the kinky tastes and behavior of anybody famous, which they are in the sports world.

What public are you talking about? Must not be the public I'm in... :sherlock:

I get so mad how they grilled him on this. Our society just plain sucks. I watched the press conference today and saw him backpeddling, not saying a word when I wished he would of just said, " yeah, it was us, she has cute feet and we have fun with it". I guess they would be doing the same thing no matter what type of clips they were making I suppose, but still, just hearing people call it bizzare and stuff angers me.

The people who buy tabloid newspapers, buy gossip magazines, and watch TV shows which are nothing but celebrity gossip and scandal. Nobody said you bought the New York Post or People magazine or watched Access Hollywood or Extra on TV, but many millions of people do.

I think truthfully, nobody cares. Its everything you just said and the media shoving all these celebrities in our faces thinking we actually do care.
Maybe if people really are obsessed with every detail of someone else's life, thats another problem in itself. 🙂

*sigh*

I'm coming into this late. I pay zero attention to sports, and could not have told you who Rex Ryan was prior to a couple of minutes ago when I stumbled upon this thread. But I do have some very strong feelings about it, pretty much the same feelings I had about eight years ago when a contestant on one of those sleazy reality shows was revealed to have made some foot tickling videos back when she was in law school. The story was broken on that despicable website smokinggun.com, and then the New York Post paired it up with the latest from Iraq with the headline "SADDAM & GOMORRAH."

Friends, it's not a joke. It's the same kind of prejudice that forced gay people in past decades to keep their homosexuality top secret, and it's the public mentality that makes celebrities fair game to be treated with as little empathy as a pack of lions would have for the buffalo they're eating alive. (You should see those videos; they're very instructive. The buffalo is fully conscious and wide awake, but unable to run, and the lions are helping themselves to flesh and intestines--and they take their own sweet time about it, too, as they know that their dinner isn't going anywhere.) And in both instances, it was members of the fetish community, viewers of those videos, who spilled the beans rather than respecting these people's anonymity the way that they would more naturally respect the anonymity of non-celebrities here on this board.

Allow me to suggest a rather radical way of looking at it. Rex Ryan is absolutely right to say that it is his own private business and that others should respect it. Rex Ryan, though perhaps he was a bit imprudent in the making of those video, did not attempt to make anything about himself public other than his performance as a football couch. Therefore, there is nothing which gives the press or the public any moral right to expose publicize anything about him other than his performance as a football couch. Now, there's a First Amendment which protects people from being put in jail for it, but please, there's a big difference between what the law lets us get away with and what's a decent thing to do. Exposing his personal life is constitutionally protected, but it is not a decent thing to do.

When you are watching videos and you recognize somebody on those videos who is publicly known, but that person's connection with the videos is not publicly known, you have a moral obligation to keep your observation to yourself. Making the information public is exactly the same act of wrongdoing--exactly the same with no difference whatsoever--as it would be if I were to reveal, publicly, what I know about any of the people on this board whom I've socialized with in person. You may choose to make your fetish proclivities public, but it's not my place to make that decision for you, and if you were Rex Ryan, it still wouldn't be my place to make that decision for you.

It is not for us to be entertained by that headline on the New York Post. It is for us to be very sad that the editors of that horrible paper do not have any greater sense of personal right and wrong than to make such a headline, and it is also for us, as members of a fetish community, to be extremely careful not to ever be the ones responsible for making such information available to those horrible assholes who publish such papers.

Rex Ryan had a right to his privacy. He has been robbed of something that was rightfully his. And it is not a joke.

People obviously don't know what is right or wrong anymore today... 🙁

My thoughts on this are:
1. I would not be suprised if Rex Ryan checks in on TMF if not a member.
2. Howard Stern needs to have him and Michelle in soon for a round in the tickle chair.
3. We all have skeletons in the closet. Unfortunately his profession puts him in the public arena and he gets judged (fair or unfair) in a different light.
4. If Marv Albert can survive his escapades, Rex will be fine.

I havent seen one thing that mentions they are into tickling. am i missing something?

One more thing in regards to the video clip of "The View" and Elizabeth Hasslebeck defending the Ryans. Kudos to Elizabeth for her stance and for showing her feet in a flirty manner. On the other hand Joy Behar is flat out gross and I could do without seeing her feet and this is coming from a nylon foot fetish guy!

I listened to the sports station all day and they had a field day. What was interesting though was that most of the callers kept saying it's a private matter, he could be into much worse, etc. I wonder if Rex is a TMF member?

I cant believe how big of a story this is. its literally on every local and national newscast. not too mention talk shows. good exposure i guess.

They keep saying that it's a private matter, which I would tend to agree with if they hadn't put it out there for others to see. I have private matter too and that will stay private until I wanted to release it so people could see it. Once it hits the nets it isn't private anymore.

What I don't like is all the sports talk show hosts, both local and nationwide acting like a foot fetish is so unusual. Some jerk on ESPN last night was saying "I just don't get foot fetishists. I've never even touched my wife's feet"(personally I just don't get being married to a woman and not giving her a foot massage, or tickling her feet at least a couple times) and a local Baltimore sports radio talk show host(who will remain nameless) was acting like it was so impossible to be arroused by a pretty pair of female feet. But the sports message boards are the worst. All the posters are acting like anyone who likes feet is a sick disgusting freak. One loser even compared someone w/a foot fetish to someone who likes beeing peed on. Someone else said because a foot fetish is so "unusual", it's fair game for ridicule. What a bunch of narrow minded pricks! I thought having a foot fetish was fairly accepted in society, but then I see all these negative comments. Maybe its because Ryan is considered a loud mouthed jerk and a lot of sports fans(especially Pats and Dolphin fans) can't stand him to begin with. I know there are some celebrities, and public figures who've admitted to liking feet(Tommy Lee, Charlie Sheen, Quentin Tarantino are a few who come to mind), but I'll bet a lot more people out there like womens feet, but are afraid to "come out" because of all the ridicule and stupid comments, even in this day and age.

Good observations, Magic Fingers. I'm with you on this all the way down the line (though I would add that, even if he liked being peed on, he would not deserve public ridicule).

The word "unusual" reminds me of the word "Weird," which is the title of a play that some friends of mine put on in New York a couple of years ago. In the play "Weird," a freshman girl at a small private Catholic college finds herself obsessed with the desire to spank her roommate (also a girl). After much agonizing over it, she finally gets persuaded to check out a spanking fetish chat room. There, she inadvertently makes friends with her psychology professor, who is the founding host of this chat room. Well, about halfway through Act II, the beans get spilled, and the campus newspaper (edited by the roommate's boyfriend) runs a headline "SPANK 101." The professor is humiliated. But then, he gets persuaded to go back to his class, and when he does, he delivers a speech in which he lets students know that, if he does things they think are weird, they also do some things that he thinks are weird. At the apex of his speech, he says, "I have a spanking fetish. I go once a week to a dominatrix to be paddled until I can barely stand, and I get great pleasure from it. That apparently strikes many of you as weird. Well, I will make you all an offer. You write me up a list of all the things that you consider weird, and I will promise to abstain from each and every one of them, for life—as long as you don’t mind a list from me." In the play, that speech does the trick and the respect of his class is restored; not sure how it would go in real life.

Embarrassing, is it? For the family & all that? ---Or did the competition out him?

And some people tried to assume in other threads that
there's no real-life penalty for being exposed as a fetishist

---and this guy is "just" outed --- even "just" HERE, by the OP of this thread, one of our own in this forum,

who JUST HAD to ID him ---- in the subject heading too --- :illogical

and/or by the same person or someone else in mainstream media ---

...unless the person who's responsible for outing him from ESPN happened to see this thread....?? We have NO IDEA WHO LOOKS HERE.

Or maybe they just saw that YouTube bit & put it together also ---- Yes this coach & his wife took a risk.
But if they didn't announce their identities,
WHY CAN'T PEOPLE JUST ENJOY IT & KEEP THEIR MOUTHS SHUT???
rather than OUTING the couple??? :disgust:

And that's just as an apparent foot fetishist.

As I've said elsewhere, imagine if he and/or his wife ever did tickle-porn in the nude when young, "barely legal" & not thinking long-term...

No regrets, nah, of course not. 🙄 I really hope this doesn't affect his job, THAT would be a travesty.

If there's really no doubt it's him --- People do have "doubles," and if there's any doubt it's him or his wife....

And yes of course I agree ---- this is idiotic, a foot fetish is nothing ---- but there are loads of greater idiots out there
as well as in here, who look for any excuse to take someone down to make their small selves feel a little better. 🙄

There you go WIP. Even though we don't always agree on political or social issues, we'll always have common ground when it comes to love of female feet and tickling.

Isn't it funny how those who decry others as being "sick, disgusting freaks" usually have something to hide?

I know its late to put my own two sense in but i find it absolutely deplorable that some of the media takes this story and turns it into REX RYAN TH FOOT FREAK. I'll say I'm rather surprised that some of the media has actually been quasi mature about the whole thing, but a good majority of it has all but tried to publicly break down, embarrass and ruin this man's life. Much like a spiteful ex-girl/boyfriend would post something horrid about their ex mate online in an effort to defame them. I don't see every news channel exploring people like Tommy Lee, Jack Black, or Alex Rodriguez about their foot fetishes. And another thing. The media throws the word fetish around as if it were some sort of freakish liking. Rather than being mature about it's use they paint the word fetish to be evil. If they really truly wanted to be passionate much as I believe ABC news did in one article they'd say he has Foot Partial-ism/fetishism. I say enough is enough and leave the man and his kinks to his 23 year long HAPPY marriage with his beautiful wife and let us enjoy their clips.

"...we are the most immature country when it comes to sex....violence is okay, but anything to do with sex causes problems..."

"...we are the most immature country when it comes to sex....violence is okay, but anything to do with sex causes problems..."

Totally agree on THAT one. Go watch "This Film Has Not Yet Been Rated."

It's crazy....sex equals NC-17, but hardcore, depraved violence equals R.
A woman enjoying herself during sex, NC-17, a man enjoying himself, R.
Either one atually enjoying it, strong possibility of NC-17, X. It being unpleasant....easy R rating.

Whenever a media major from college calls up Rush Limbaugh, and asks for advice on how to make it as a reporter, Rush always has this advice:
"Find someone in your town, a politician, pastor, high up in the business community, someone who does a lot of god works around town.

Destroy them.
It doesn't matter if it's true or not. But just, take them down. You'll get hired in the big time, you'l get awards, etc."

Now, he says this in "sort of" jest....but let's all face it, NOT REALLY.
Who are the two most famous, highly acclaimed reporters of our time?
Woodward and Bernstein. Why?
They took down Nixon, a president.....and a REPUBLICAN at that!

The media's most sought after footage, is of some high up, or hell, even lower, BREAK DOWN on camera.

They want Rex Ryan to just have a complete break down, on camera, so they can play that footage over and over, and then years later play it all again. You won't see great editorials 10 years from now on retrospective shows, you only see the "break down" moments, or "extreme" moments in those shows.

Why do they only cover the train wrecks of Lindsey Lohan and Britney Spears, and not follow Chris Nolan or Clint Eastwood around all day long?
Why are they barely covering Britney Spears, now that she has slowly gotten her act together and calmed down, yet following all these basket cases around?

That's why conservatives call them the "drive by media."

Like a drive by shooting, they drive by, cause all kinds of chaos and destruction of lives, and never hang around to see the results, they just move on to the next scandal, and leave the victims and their family and friends to pick up the pieces on their own.
