RO anyone?

Perhaps some of the youngsters don't remember, but RO (Ragnarok Online) represents one of the most classic MMORPG game of the past decade. I and a few of my friends have opened up a server for the game and we have a budding community of about 10 players.

We have rates of 45/45/25 (Base/job/drop rate) and we are pk enabled and the first War of the Emperium begins this weekend. We have very little way in custom items/scripts, we do have a job changer, healer, and quest warper in place.

Our GMs are super friendly and willing to help anyone from newbies to grizzled veterens in the game.

Oh man, I remember wasting many a summer and Christmas vacation grinding on private RO servers. My first MMO will always hold a special place in my heart. The music was great, I loved the graphics, even if they weren't awe-inspiring.

Unfortunately, WoW already consumes too much of my time, and it's spoiled me to the point that I can't see myself going back to a more difficult mmo such as RO (at least, more difficult in terms of leveling and grinding). But I wish you luck, and I'm glad to see that RO is still alive and well. 🙂

Yea RO was my first MMO too, me and a friend went crazy a few summers back playing all the time, private server but it was awesome.

Like Malevolent though, WoW is my time consumer these days.
