Robin ( (Witch Hunter Robin) part 2

Yes, as the name implies this is the second part of the ongoing Witch Hunter Robin parody I'm drawing. This one features our young heroine removing her other sock in preperation for whats to come. Something which coincidentally is liked very much by the sock removal enthusiasts and fans among us. 🙂

Rather than recap the entire plot up until this point (which wasn't long, but it unnecessary to repeat since most or all of you have seen the first picture), we'll just move on to the picture.

As far as the picture goes, I like it, I'm proud of it, but somehow it just can't live up to the first, and the quality isn't as good. But maybe thats just me.

@ TD- Yeah, its always nice to see an otherwise gloomy character smile, even if its just a show (in this case anyways). 🙂

As for the tickling...perhaps. It depends on whether or not I want to draw one more picture before the final tickling ones. If there are any.

😀 I think it is cool she is teasing us. She does look cuter when she smiles.
I can't see any difference in quality between the 2. They both look in excellent quality to me. I am happy you are proud of it. I look forward to viewing the next drawing masterpiece. 😀

Well, she isn't exactly teasing us, we are just merely witness to whats happening. We aren't really there since her actions aren't directed at us. Its more like inticing him, not that she knows how to do that or what will distract him, she's just playing it by ear. Although I can see how it would look that way that she's teasing the viewer. Each picture is another moment in time right after the previous. So for example, the next picture will take place just moments after she fully removes the sock. Since theres no way to distinguish elapsed time in a picture without time day of day, a clock, physical change (five 0' clock shadows on men for example) then it just appears like gaps or voids in time where an undetermined ammount of time has passed. And that can make it look like she's teasing and being slow and methodical. Its really taking place in real time, and its hard to translate that time in pictures.

To do make it look like real time I'd have to actually draw one frame at a time, having her slowly move in each picture, like the animators draw. But since that would take an unrealistic ammount of time for a single picture or scene, we're stuck with this.

Ultimately though, if anyone is teasing in this picture, its me. 😀

Oh, and about the quality, I guess thats something perhaps only the artist can see when it gets down to the minute details. I see a big difference and I see where I went wrong. I haven't been drawing lately, so my skill must have suffered a bit. Or, maybe its not the lineart that suffered, but the coloring. It is only my third color job, but even the second one came out better. I'm fortunate this picture came out looking even this good. 😱

Wow, REALLY happy to see this one. It'll be nice to see the story play out.

In my oppinion, your art is on the same level as before, except for a few minor things.
1. Her face seems rounder, more pixie-ish and younger in this one. That does accentuate the smile though IMHO
2. Her hair on the sides (the part that is tied up... dunno what to call it) seems a tad small...just a tad.

Now, on the upside
1. The white frill looks more like frill in this one than the last, IMO
2. The expression fits the scenario better. The acted look of happiness is a good touch. In the last, she seemed nervous/uncertain/pissed.

Great job overall. I think the coloring is good, though it is a bit... pasty? Dont know if that is an accurate desription, but it almost looks like some parts of this were painted with real paint and a bit too much was used in that one spot.

Whew... there ya go! I promised to review better (whenever I can get on) and I'm doing it!

1.) I can see how it would be. For this particular series of pictures I was trying to maintain a certain look. I'm glad to see, that at least in your estimation, that its on the same level as the first. I only really said what I said because I can see the mistakes, and quality wise I'd rate this one as a 7/10, whereas I would have given the first a 10.

As for her face, I guess thats just the way it looks to you or anyone that would see it that way. I wasn't going for "rounder", but I did condider the shape of the face when she is smiling.

2.) Its supposed to be small. Actually, in the series, they are small strands of hair. I can see the need to have made them more definite in this one however.

3.) Thanks, it does look more like a frill. And I really didn't do much that was different. Just made them more rounded.

4.) I have to disagree. In the first picture her expression was fine. She had just sat down, was introduced to this pervert whom she knows is going to have perverted thoughts going through his mind. She was supposed to be nervous, uncertain, and even have the look of an accosted person.

But that was then. She knows what she has to do, so she's gotten past the original first impression and natural reaction. It was sort of taking it all in and sorting it out. And thats what she's done from that scene to this one.

Pasty if a fair description. I agree, and I know why it looks that way. But theres no point boring you with my artist speech. All that matters is I know what I need to do. I knew it after it was finished and I got a complete finished view of it (another reason I rated it less than the first.)

Thank you for taking the time to be nice and honest. It was greatly appriciated. Its all I really asked for from anyone.

"Good job" is nice and all, but honestly, its not enough to compel me to try harder. While I'll try harder no matter what anyone says, that extra encouragement goes a long way. Not to mention it puts me in good with that person, and they are likely to hold my favor and get more privledges and options for requests.

Sorry dude, but you're calling all of us perverts here with these few phrases. I remember the storyline, and you said a evil mage of some sorts with a tickling/foot fetish. Well guess what all of us are here ( tickling fetishists ) and lots are too ( foot fetishists ). Now I assume you didn't mean what you just said.

You're assuming I mean that. I know what I said and it still applies. But the fact of the matter is he IS a pervert by virtue of his intentions. In all realism, whose to say he would just stop at tickling her? This is an undisclosed location and I would say based solely on the theme that she's being propositioned for more than just tickling. Where you go wrong is in assuming I'm making him to be a typical fetishist who is otherwise ok and isn't a danger to society. This man could be a criminal for all you know and is just using tickling to break the ice. We can't assume he's like you for example just because. And I shouldn't have to explain every little nook and cranny where it might not even be relevant.

I've made it clear many times that this isn't your typical lighthearted tickling scene and I'm playing more into the realism of it all than a fantasy. Its full of danger and unpredictability. Someone could die. Just because he has a fetish or is a fetishist, doesn't make him a benign person who doesn't have shady ideas or plans. He certainly is not a good person.

I've made it very clear that this isn't a typical or casual situation, even in regards to the proposed (since it hasn't happened yet) tickling.

If you only posted to say that whereas you wouldn't have posted otherwise, then that tells me alot about you and what I can expect from you.

I knew someone might call me on it, and I'm glad someone did. Again, I weasal out of nothing and I never run away or evade a situation.

I know what I said, I know what I meant, and I know how I meant it. How off the mark you were is not my fault. And the only thing I apologize for is your discontent. I won't apologize for what I said, because I explained myself and theres nothing to apologize about therefore.

If you still feel hurt even after my explaination and recap, then I don't know what to say other than you took a story and applied it to your reality and the reality of others here.

This character and you are totally different, and at that, there would be no sound way to compare the two. I'm not so stupid as to set myself up for a would be badgerment. No foul, no harm.

And another thing, I'm pretty sure I mentioned why the STNJ is hunting him. While I did not give specific reasons, its safe to say he's a threat, like all the others. If he's on the list theres a reason for it. So you all KNEW from the get go that he was bad, evil or some such danger.

And I did explain how they would lure him out too. They KNEW he had a fetish. But the fetish, they could really care less about it. Its just a way of manipulating him into a situation where he would let his guard down, if even for a moment. He's SO into it that it IS a perversion, weakness which they are exploiting.

The fact of the matter is I only included that as part of the witch because it was a necessary plot device in order to make this a tickling scene or situation for you all. If I would have left it at "he's just a witch" then there would be no basis for her being in this particular situation and it wouldn't be a tickling affair at all.

I went out of my way to make it about tickling for you all. I wouldn't therefore ruin that. And some of you should know better as to know that I don't simply leave it at drawing a picture. I go above and beyond the call of the average and mundane.

You actually bring her and this thread up again coincidentally when I'm about ready to upload the third Robin picture. Yes, it is completed, but photobucket (the server I use) is under maintenance right now. So I and everyone of you will have to wait until they finish whatever it is they are doing. I could go ahead and update TickleTheater first. But I've made it a habit to update the TMF first, TT second, deviantart third and my group last. No point in breaking what has become practically traditional. 😛
