It,s a comedy, with great music and Richard O,Brien has an amazing voice. Come on Rox cheer-up🙂, this isn,t Shakespear it,s supposed to be ridiculous. Besides there are women in it. Columbia rocks! Janet and Magenta are pretty hot. Riff Raff and the girls are what drew me in from the start. I still haven,t watched BrokeBack Mountain and I have no intention of ever seeing it, unless they remake it using women as the main characters. Cult movies like Shock Treatment, Phantom of the Paradise and Beyond the Valley of the Dolls may be more to your liking. They are really good too, also having wonderful soundtracks and quirky story lines. The girls acting in BVD didn,t win any Oscar,s and never will but they were all ex- Playmates and were some of the most beautiful women I,ve ever seen, especially Cynthia Meyers{Casey}. Everyone of them were box office bombs but they all found an audience and still play nearly 40yrs later. You,re thinking like a normal person Roxy Roller, you need to leave that at the door😉because there is nothing normal about these movies. RHPS Is the only movie that I,ve ever seen where the audience paricipates fully, singing all the songs and using their props, it,s a hellava good time but serious, no way, and the girls at my university enjoyed seeing the guys dress like that. In fact I got a really hot date because of it.
