Wow....I was suprised to see this here again, thought someone might have just reposted it.....yeah it wasnt to hard.....all you do is run an emulator game and when you're on a screen you like, hit the little PrintScreen/SysRq button to basically take a still shot, then go into Paint, open a blank template and hit "Paste" and save as your prefered format......then just edit edit edit!

In ZSNES you can hit the number keys to show or hide different layers. So if you wanted you could hide everything but the characters so you dont need to extract them from the image later. 🙂

It doesnt always work out so well however. I tried to do it with a Sega Genesis emulator and for some reason every pasted image came out all badly pixelated and with negative colors...
