Rooting for a rival

I find myself in a position I hate being in...I have to root for a rival team. In another fantasy football league, I'm currently up by 31 points. All my players are done, but my opponent has Plaxico Burress yet to play tonite. Now normally, I wouldn't worry about Burress getting the 32 points to beat me. HOWEVER, the Giants have the distinction of playing the hapless Clowns tonite. So now I'm forced to root for the Steelers oldest division rival. Or, to at least hope they can actually shut down Plaxico.

Anyone else ever find themselves in that position of rooting for a team you hate for one reason or another? It sucks, doesn't it?
 
The reason you mention is why I stopped playing FF for a while.

I love the Steelers too much to ever root against them or for their rivals.

And don't worry, there's NO WAY Plax will get 32 pts tonight... unless he catches like 2 TD's with over 15 catches and 200 yds, if not more
