Here's where I am thus far:
1) Put in CD and went through the setup procedure again. Internet is connected
to Router on family computer. Connect on LAN now instead of Broadband connection.
2) Moved my computer in my room in the basement out from the breaker box, TV
and outlets.
3) Checked wireless connections in area. Tried to connect to 1 I created from the Linksys router. Switches to anonymous WEP free wireless network. Connected to an anonymous wep free
wireless (don't know where it came from, don't worry it's not my neighbours.)
4) Can't connect to Internet directly, like the family pc thru LAN. The LAN connection icons say connection unplugged. Can't connect thru broadband, I get error 678 and then a redial after 60 seconds.
I'm going to disconnect from the anonymous wireless network until I get things worked out.
Any ideas what I should do now? We use Bell High Speed Sympatico.
