Convicted of assualt, survived various shootings by "fellow" rappers, arrested for failing to pay child maintainance, is believed to have fathered many other children, arrested for threatening his wife, got shot during a burglary, accused of shooting at the NYPD, many more arrests for shoplifting and missing court apperances, arrested for more threats against his wife, for illegally wearing body armour, also many arrests for possesion of crack cocaine.

His last court appearance featured insulting and crude suggestions aimed at the female District Attourney. He was subsequently ordered against his will to attend a drug rehabilitation centre, from were he escaped.


Makes you wonder how he found time to make so many great records, or maybe he was just a tosser.

Hi Drew! glad you are impressed with my knowledge of rap "artists".

My beef with the rap movement and those who invite us to mourn the passing of one of their number is this......


These guys make a career out of celebrating and agrandising every possible form of antisocial behaviour, abuse of women, fire arms, theft, shooting, revenge killings, serving time in prison, physical assualt, buying, selling and use of drugs, and so on and so on.

The whole message is about the glorification of violence and law breaking, its a bunch of school bullies who never grew up.

All this is just fine if it floats your boat, I know there are some folks who come on here who are in to it and i respect their right to post on the subject, and I reserve my right to critisize (untill the mods zap my posts).

What I find hard to take is anyone expecting me, or most other people, to shed a tear for these talentless gangsters when one of their number expires.Anyone would think we were mourning the passing of Judy Garland or Debby Reynolds, suddenly we are expected to embrace these clowns in a thick treacle of mawkish sentimentality.


p.s. what the hell is a truely great and talented musician like Quincy Jones doing hanging out with these fuckwits?

Hey Red, I agree with you about Quincy Jones, an amazing talent. Just picked up Ray Charles "Genius + Soul = Jazz" cd that Q had arrangements on, yesterday.

.....The Quincy Jones Jazz Orchestra from the 60's and album called " The Quintessance" its one of my all time fav albums, most of my musicians friends think so too, I have had it stolen twice!!

Some of our rapper "bro's" may find it extraordinary, all these dudes playing instruments that dont plug in, and the whole album was made without a single stabbing or shooting.....some kind of wierd shit man!!!......and apparently these guys studied, and spent time in the woodshed practicing their instruments, and not learning how to handle a .45.
