I'm sure most of us have already heard - Mr. Rogers has passed.
I found out this morning, and I just saw his story on CNN. I have to admit - I got choked up. I'm fighting back tears as I type this. It's so remarkable that I am so deeply touched by this man, whose show I stopped watching so many years ago. I just wanted to take a moment to share this.
If there ever was anything in this world purely good and comforting, it was his neighborhood. He was a part of so many people's childhood - he will forever be remembered in mine. It's just a shame that it took today for me to finally realize this.
I will miss you, Mr. Rogers.
