Safe for Work version of TMF?

There is LITERALLY nothing you can hide at work anymore when you use their system, and I'm betting they can track WiFi by now, so don't bet on total device safety. Back in the late '90s, I got away even with watching tickling videos at work, but I did so only near the end of the shift, late night, when there was nothing to do. There was no IT set-up yet that tracked everything. However, when I moved on to a better job, a few years later, I operated under this principle and was nailed with three days' unpaid suspension, and the policy there is two strikes and you're out. EVERY keystroke. EVERY link. EVERY website is recorded now. Deal with it.

Just use your personal phone and data, not their WiFi or work property. Otherwise, wait until you get home.

You shouldn't even be engaging the forum while at work. Really inappropriate. What's wrong with you? Not worth getting fired over...

I can't say for certain because every job site is different, but it is extremely likely that if there is a corporate email server then, yes, your email can be read by anyone with access. I've never tried to run a search of any kind on an email server, and I do not know how well that is monitored, just that it is possible.

***this implies someone would have to know how, and want to do so. It is not a reasonable expectation, but Im sure someone somewhere has set up scripts to watch for specific keywords going through the email server. Your supervisors and bosses are probably not the ones doing this, and even if they are, something or someone probably caused the search. It is reasonably unlikely that your email are being monitored very heavily. That said, don't send silly things like, I don't know, confidential emails.

Not everything in the workplace is monitored and a lot of the monitoring requires setup to some degree, so some places might not do it. Typically failed login attempts are logged, and sometimes successful ones (it depends on the server admin's preferences. However, if you're logging into a remote desktop/virtual machine, or even a physical machine on a network, it is possible to duplicate what you're doing on one monitor onto another (Like, I might be able to just check out what youre doing whenever I want).

I'm not a server guy, Ive just worked with some a little bit.
