Safe Words

The only reason I even permit the use of a safeword is strictly for my sub's peace of mind. I don't expect him to ever use it--not because he wouldn't be pushed to his limits (nono, don't think that for a moment :devil2: ), but because I do my best to stay laserbeam-focused on him so I know exactly where he is during session. In fact, taunting him to use it before he is close enough to really needing it is an excellent "stretching exercise"--it stings his pride and makes him hold out even longer. The only way I'd actually purposely push him far enough to say it would be if I knew that deep down, that was what he really wanted that day.

Somehow, Mr. Bond, I think that "ha" as a safeword might be somewhat self-defeating...it would look more like a comedy team act than a tickling session:

"OMG--HAhahaha...what's wrong? Why'd you stop?"
"You said the word!"
"No,I didn't, I was laughing!" :disgust:
"Sorry--here..." :tickle:
"AH! No,no--HAHAhaha...now what?"
"You said it again!"
"I did NOT, I was laughing!" :sowrong:

...and so on. 😀 I agree, though, do keep it simple and, if possible, unrelated to anything going on so it's unmistakable. In fact, in order to maintain mood and atmosphere, try using a physical gesture rather than a word if feasible, both to end as well as to resume.

I do not recommend a belt to the chops or punch to the gut, though. 😀

I use the safeword "red".

Is simple and easy to say in case of an emergency or if she is out of breath! :santasmil

I've chosen a new, sweet little sub right now, but I'll let you know if I ever am open to taking on another, hmmm? Then we can explore just how...important safewords can be... :firedevil

i had tickled tickleshotel's feet until she couldnt take anymore and she used her safeword which at the time was Penguin..As for me my safeword has yet to be uttered :bouncybou
 
When I ler, I give my lee a safeword at some point when I feel he/she is getting panicky. They know that the moment they say it I'll stop instantly and not restart, so its an incentive for them not to say it.

It also means they aren't going to get so panicky I have to stop the session because I'm scared for their safety.
 
my safeword is Avalanche. I haven't used it since July 16. That was the last time I broke. :bouncybou
 
The safeword that Mistress Zara has instructed me to use is "lavender". It is not related to tickling, nor would I commonly use it.

The session doesn't end if I use my safeword. MZ just stops, lets me catch my breath, asks if I'm OK, and then continues if I am. 😀
 
I don't have a safeword, and hopefully will never have one. I think I might have been whispered one when I had my first session with my now bf, but I was laughing too hard to hear.

I'm instatiable, so its unlikely I'll ever need to use a safe word anyway, but I think my tone of voice will be suitable different for my ler to realise its time to keep those fingers still.
 
What are these safe words you speak of?
Are they when Natasha and or myself, Boris, are tickle torturing information out of someone and they give us the info we seek?

Soon after I had tickle dates with people who lived near me from this website, I was told that the standard safe words are green for go, yellow for slow down and red for stop like on a traffic light. Since then I have recently changed my safeword to horse because I really like horses.

safewords are for wimps!!!!

of course having been recently "broken" and not having a pre -arranged safeword , "FOR GOD SAKES STOP!!!!" was my safeword🙂

lol, thats a word, I'd probably blurt out a lot, doesn't mean, I'd want the tickling to stop though 😛
But seriously, I've never had a safe word so far, guess, I'll be thinking of one should the necessity/opportunity ever arise.
 
My girlfriend and I don't use safe words. We both know when it is time to stop.

When I'm tickling her, we stop when I want to or when she says she is done, which ever comes first... sometimes haha.

If she is tickling me, she stops when she wants to.

But if I was going to have her use a safe word, it would be cool if it was "slave" or "sub" or "lee" haha.
 
When my ler wanted me to play with a safeword it has always been the standard red for stop, yellow for pause and green for ok.

Some of the other words here are definitely more interesting.

Mine is going to be Jellybean. I have no idea why I picked that word, but it makes me giggle when i say it. I wonder if I'll ever have to use it??..... :tickle:

Iwant2betickled that is a cute word for a safeword ,very original 🙂 My safeword is "penguin" and I giggle saying it even when I am not being tickled :bunny:
