Safewords

For those that are tickled and have safewords...how much do you resist using them? Do you find yourself quick to use them or do you really try hard not to?
Does it have anything to do with the spot being tickled?

Just curious.

Safewords went out in the 80s.

I usually tie the safeword to a bet. If I use it, I have to do something that I don't particularly like. That will make me hold back better.

I will do everything in my power to avoid using a safeword. If the tickling/session is just playful or for fun, then it usually won't even come up. If the ler wants me to safeword, then it's just a battle of wills, and I am stubborn as hell and hate to lose. There's only been one instance that I very regrettably used my safeword - and yes, it had everything to do with the spot being tickled. indeed.

I'll use it as a last resort or when the session needs to end at that point for whatever the reason is.

I use my safeword very rarely, less than once every ten sessions. I only use it if I have a loss of circulation or a muscle cramp, not because I'm being tickled too much. (There's no such thing as being tickled too much, to me.)

I don't use them, because if I did, I would use it straight away, I struggle to see the point in giving someone control of you when you can stop them at any time.
