Okay, sorry guys... Didn't mean to call him over rated, maybe i should change that or add something... He was a really good QB... he's not as awesome as people say he is NOW.. so now he's a little over rated. But yeah I do think he deserved to be in the hall o fam.
And in the Green Bay / Arizona game. Yeah he played well... because he had to, both offenses sucked so he had to keep up with GB after they got their butts in gear and started scoring. But both defenses sucked so they helped him play so good...
And yeah yousaid Matt L. played part of the game but you made it sound like that's why they lost. They were only like what? 2 TD's behind them at the beginning of the second half? And then He came back in the game and he couldn't score.. so I don't think Matt playing was the reason they lost since Warner couldn't score at all...
And yeah, he's probably in the top 10... And he did do good for Arizona, I'll admit that... and he should thank Farve for helping him get into the playoffs.. because he 49ers beat the Cardinals twice.. they were only 2 games behind them, if they would have stopped Farve from making that last 12 second TD, and then stopped Payton from scoring that lst minute TD they would be in the playoffs, not the Cardnals...
You make that statement but think about this logically...if Leinart was in the game that meant Warner was hurt correct? Then logically speaking when Warner came back into the game it is fair to say he was still hurt, right? The guy is as GOOD as they say he is. Is Warner mistake prone? Absolutely! Is Warner a top five right now in the league? No. But a top 8 right now in this league? Yes. But lets keep in mind he is 38 years old.
Also when you mention Green Bay you forgot to say he sliced up the number 2 defense in the conference. You also forgot to mention he probably got rid of the one team who could have gone to the Super Bowl had that team not been sliced up by Kurt Warner ( 26 for 30 379 yards 5 TD's and no INT's ).
You make it sound like he should apologize for the Cardinals going to the playoffs. He should not. Also...he missed a game with a concussion so it is possible he could have won that game meaning he doesn't have to thank anyone.
If this team would have done this and that team would have done that...if the 49ers were that good they wouldn't have needed ifs and buts to make the playoffs. The 49ers were just not that good. Heck you want to play the if's and but's game...the Lions were screw on that TD by the 49ers. Clearly A;ex Smith was over the line of scrimmage by a good two yards and they reviewed and STILL didn't get the call right. Maybe if ( since you like using if's and but's ) that call is reversed maybe the Lions win that game. You don't know.
Warner deserves credit for giving the Cardinals creditability. That was something that organization did not have prior to him showing up in Arizona. The man's numbers speak for themselves. He, nor the Cardinals have to apologies to anyone for being that good.
