San Diego Comic Con / ticklling

I will be in San Diego for the 2007 International Comic Con (Thursday July 26th through Sunday July 29th). I was curious if anyone else from the TMF will be in or around San Diego during those days who may want to get together (tickling or not). I know there is an event in Los Angeles on Saturday but I don't know if I can make it up (Saturday is the BIG day/night for Comic-Con).

I will be with my gf but she is not up for play with anyone she doesn't really know (if she is the lee) beyond that it is more open but only a meet and greet will tell.

I'm going to be there but I honestly don't know if I'd be able to get away from my group. But if a time/place can be arranged, I can see what I can do. 🙂

I think this'd be great -- especially if there are some who go regularly... I went once -- won't be attending this year -- but it's a great event, and it would be awesome to catch up with some people from here who are comics fans, just to meet, hang, shoot the bull and get to know folks.

There's a nice pub where Frank Miller hung out when I last attended, but it got über-crowded in a flash... And for those low on funds, there's a hostel within walking distance of the convention center -- make sure you ask for a room with windows facing the street (the alternative is oppressively hot).

The whole Gaslamp Quarter is pretty nice, as I recall.

Even if you're not huge on comics or pop-culture, just the size and spectacle of the event is something to behold. I literally lost my track of my position once in the center because it was so friggin' huge. I'm thinking I may hit Dragon-Con in Georgia this year -- small by comparison, but still very cool.

Man, I wish I were going. Hey, if any TMF lee's are going ...and are Catwoman fans, I dare you to try getting Niki Notarile --the Catwoman from the fan film "Catwoman: Principles" to tickle you! (even just a small poke to the ribs or something)

What could be better than bein tickled by a hot lady in the sexy purple Catwoman costume? Meyow! 😀

so your girl will tickle people she doesn't know but not be tickled by people she doesnt know? hmph.. lol I wish I was going. I'll make it to Comic-con some year... have fun
