Hello everyone

What do you think of all the Saw movies?

I have a copy of the Saw 6 movie sitting next to me and I can't decide if I want to watch it or not.

I haven't watched any of them, but a friend of mine reports that the first movie is good for its story, and the rest are good for coasters.

I haven't seen Saw 5 or 6 yet, but I've seen the rest and I loved them. I'm just too scared to watch it by myself LOL

I've seen them all except the very latest one. They're great if you love gore, I only found the first one to be scary but they're all good for keeping you interested and slightly freaked out :zomgrabbit:

They're good if you were disliked by your bosses and they shot you into space and sent you cheesy movies, the worst that they could find (la la la), and you have a couple robot friends to make fun of them with you.

Yuck. In my opinion, they rank right up there with the Hostel movies (and I love Tarantino by the way).

To each his own, but torture just doesn't do it for me. If they used their imagination for more eroticism, I think they'd be on to something.

I like watching them but then again I'm a sucker for horror movies.Even the cheesy ones. 😛

Tarantino only produced Hostel. He had as much to do with Hostel as Spielberg did Transformers.

When Dina Meyer was killed off, my interest fell from "mild" to "zero".

I can honestly say I've only seen the first one... DAMN! Who is the hottie in your signature? Gorgeous!

they are my favorite movies.. however dont watch 6 if you have seen the rest it will piss you off

I haven't saw the latest one but I am aggravated with them. They make no sense anymore and all they are doing is trying to be as graphic as possible

I have not read any other post in this topic but due to the fact it involves the Saw films, I feel obligated to make this point:

"How in the blue hell does a series continue with the same bad guy who has been dead since the third movie, yet is now on movie seven?!"

Now yes, I know they are focussing on Jigsaw's apprentice but dammit... The man plans accordingly to die three movies in advance and still have some plans kicking around. If he was still alive, I'd be much more inclined to acknowledge the movies past Saw 3's existence.

well everyone is dead now but they are still making 10.. i dont know how but they are

and saw 7 is going to be in 3d, how sad i love this series and it would have been perfect if it were left at 5. The ending of that movie would have been the perfect ending of it but no they continue

You realize Trez, my good man, that only furthers my point that there is NO reason for anything beyond Saw 3, save for maybe Saw 4 to resolve that issue with the guy's kid, should exist. I'm all for horror, but gore does not equal horror for me; it's one of those reasons I'm skeptically excited for the Nightmare on Elm Street remake.

no reason to not keep making them, it is in fact the best franchise in horror history money wise as the 6th just put them atop of jason. They have yet to even spend all the money that the first one made. On average they cost 8 million dollars to make these movies and bring in 80 million box office they are rolling in it.

Saw 7 is the last in Jigsaw's series, then 8 will be a prequel to the first.. and 9 and 10 will be a completly different story altogether

Hm... Interesting... Perhaps 8 will be worth seeing. Maybe one rainy day I'll have myself a Saw marathon. I cannot deny that the series is ridiculously popular; the number of people I know who change their facebook just to say they are seeing the new one every year proves that one. Simply not my cup of tea I suppose.

It is.....I was unaware of that...

LOL @ saw 10 ....

Surely people will get sick of them by then.

I ended up watching Saw 6 before I went to bed last night. I enjoyed the opening scene (I am a bit of a horror/gore fan at times) but then turned it off after about 20 minutes. I got a little bored to be honest. Might give it another next week sometime.
