Screwed-up Week in the NFL or What???

Boy, I can't wait to tally the results from the football pool tomorrow...

A week ago, ForeverRio decided to pick an "all-upset" week...if only Rio had done it this week, we might have a winner out of nowhere. So what the hell hppened? Complacency? True parity rearing it's ugly head? Who knows.

Indy is upset by the 1-7 Jags, Minnesota loses to 1-7 San Diego, the Seahawks fall to lousy Washington, the Giants play like crap againt the 1-7 Falcons, and even though it wasn't an upset per se, who'd have thought the Titans would rout Miami by that much? The Jets look to be tearing thier way to a possible winning season...and with the wierd games this year, it's not the most unlikely thing you could imagine.

Interesting thing to note: with all the talk of KC being undefeated, and the Colts, Titans and Pats being 7-2...the last three AFC teams to go to the Super Bowl were 4-4 at this point in thier respective seasons.

man i cant believe the giants lost to the falcons. Penalties, penalites and more penalties. A couple of penalities like those holding penalties should have not even been called. Refs need to get glasses or lighten up. Its still football!Its a rough sport! i dont understand how the giants could beat the Vikings but lose to the falcons.

I am also amazed that the jets came back to beat the raiders. Yeah a ray of hope and herman gets to keep his job.

Let's not forget the four turnovers also, three of which happened when they were driving deep into Falcons territory. This has killed them all season and the main culprit is Barber. I'm sorry, I know the guy is the leading rusher and the feature back, but what good does it do when he can't hold on to the FUCKING BALL!!!!😡 (sorry, just sheer frustration).

All I have to say is there season is over. Shockey is out for the season and they are starting all rookies next week because everybody is hurt. Just lose all ther rest of the games so they can have a shot at a good draft pick. I think this is Fassels last season. He has lost the team.

I'm so glad Tampa's showing thier true colors. I don't know why, I just never liked that team.

Yeah, I think Jim Fassel's on his way out, but I wouldn't worry about Herman Edwards of the Jets. He's still early in his career with New York, and has done well previously. Most of the problems were at QB with Chad injured, something out of his control. Just look how they're playing with him back in the line up. Geez, I wish he was there from day one.
