Self tickling for tummies

I’ve seen a few good tickle tools on Etsy, and there are some great tools that have strong, quick vibrations (which are great for light tickles).

I’m surprised that there aren’t more options for self tickling.

For example, it would be great to lay down with my arms above my head, and have a contraption that is placed over my belly that could provide strong vibrations in a randomized pattern.

I love light tickles, but I’m not really ticklish, so I don’t get tickled often.

This is my plea to all the tickle toy designers out there.

I once touched a handheld massager to my stomach, and it tickled enough to make me laugh. That was the only "self-tickling" I've ever experienced. And I'd guess if I'd tried it again, expecting it, it wouldn't have worked.

It's not an easy thing to pull off.

I've found tools seem to work better than fingers generally for self-tickling. It tricks the body to some extent into thinking someone else is doing the tickling. I've never used anything for harder tickles (except maybe a scrub brush on my foot) but I would think vibrating things could be promising especially if you're stretched out. Fingernails, claws, grooming gloves, etc. would also potentially work. Worth a try!

I saw a YouTube video of 2 gals having some kindve liposculpting something or other procedure on their bellies , and appeared to tickle the jungle juice out of both of them.

If I glide a single finger from side to side between my hip bones, every time it passes through the center of my lower belly, my belly will always suck in uncontrollably. It doesn't tickle in a way that would make me laugh, because it is me only doing it, but I can feel ticklish for sure. Using something else (like a make up brush) tickles even more and there is no way I am at least not smiling while doing it.

If I gently tickle just in front of the bottom of my ribcage with one finger, I’ll flinch 🙂 It helps to use the hand opposite the side you’re tickling.

I have a spot, on my abdomen, that I can get a ticklish reaction from if I’m in the mood and I graze my finger just right. But it’s not everywhere. I’m very rare occasions, such as when I have freshly trimmed nails, I can also lightly tickle my feet and feel a definite sensitivity, but not enough to really make me laugh or jerk away from the sensation.
