Shannon Curfman, the singer/guitarist, has a page on Myspace. She has a blog that says "Ask me anyhting" or somehing to that effect. I had asked if she was ticklish, and if so where. She replied saying it ws one of thestrangest questions she had been asked and wasn't sure if she was going to answer or not. Maybe if somebody else seconds the question she will provide an answer?

I am sure she has been asked worse questions then "are you ticklish" Its so funny how she says ask her anything and then gives attitude when you ask "anything" What a joke. Can she be any more uptight???? And what a terrible response,not only does she say the question was strange but she goes on to say how she does not know if she will answer that. Uptight much???? Forget her,you can tell already that she is not going to be playful at all. People are like this when it comes to tickling. You probably had a better shot at finding out her favorite sexual positions. Dont worry, if she wont "roll" with us we will "roll" right over her. Dont bother with that uptight bitch.

Don't creep her out, she's a musician, she's not online to flirt, and girls who play guitar, they tend to be wanted to be taken seriously, and not as sex objects, EVEN if they DRESS like sex objects, trust me on this. It's one thing if it's some pop singer in the vain of these American Idol dummies, or these Britney wannabes, but singer/songwriter girls......it can be different, such as this "blues-rock" guitar player girl......plus people are more savvy to tickling fetishes than they were in the past......so she may very well be suspicious of your intentions, ie: she knows you're not "joking" and joshing around, she probably detects that you're getting off on it. Which may creep her out, if she's checking her My Space messages for feedback about her music, know what I mean? If a girl's not in the mood, she's not in the mood, as Lenny Bruce would say!

Sometimes the answer is no, or they don't want to answer (Mariah Carey was such an instance) (not that this girl is as big as Mariah Carey). No big deal. Doesn't make them a bitch......who knows? Maybe she'll answer, maybe she's really actually considering the question. But if you look at her page, she's a blues-rock girl, she's not really marketing herself as some sexpot, she's marketing herself as a musician, a girl guitarslinger.......asking her once, out of the blue, worth a shot, sure.....

But bombarding her with requests about it....like an organzied campaign...giving her a link to this forum (which some people do).......I think that's not cool, and gives the TMF a bad reputation as well. (not that Goatboy or anyone else specifically was suggesting this). Let's not make her My Space experience strictly about a bunch of creepy guys asking if she's ticklish!

I view this whole situation as just like any other, even on the forum. Send one message, contact the person, and wait to see if she answers. If she does, and answers The Question, great, if not, she probably considers it too personal, not appropriate to answer for strangers, or just doesnt want to, and we should move on.

Good advice Mitch.That does not mean the person is uptight or anything.No one is obligated to answer any question they are asked,and celebs get all kinds of messages they dont care to respond to i'm sure.

Then, technically speaking, the line should have said "Ask me a question" instead of "Ask me anything." I mean, you gotta expect a few odd questions thrown in when the qualifier is "anything." And personally, I doubt even a couple "are you ticklish?" questions would register enough to creep her out, given that she must get dozens of questions daily asking about her panties and requests for them and who knows what else. Although I don't think we should all bombard her with the same question (agreeing with what someone else said), I also agree with the other guy who said she could have been much more diplomatic in answering. After all, when developing a fan base you should never alienate any consumers. She could have simply said, "Oh my, that's a little personal, so I'm going to keep the anwer secret," just for an example.
Who knows, maybe we'll find out one day.
