Yesterday when I was watching College Basketball I saw a report that Shaquille O'Neil wouldn't put a return to the Lakers outside the realm of possibility, he is set to become a free agent in 2010 if he doesn't call it a career. He also blames Phil Jackson for the his fallout with Kobe Bryant.

Any Comments, Concerning this....

I doubt it. Shaq's age is catching up with him. I can't even imagine what level he'll be at with two years added to it. I hope he can win a championship with the Suns this season.

Shaq doesn't blame Phil [so far as I know]. He just won't publicly blame Kobe (though he uses subtext and veiled comments/slams)

Shaq is in the tail end of his career; his knees, back or ankles/feet will give out soon enough.

The Lakers don't need Shaq, Kobe would only 'let him back' in LA if he remained 'Alpha Dog'.

That's what started the whole Shaq-Kobe thing anyways. It was two Alpha dogs in a pissing contest. So far, Kobe has wet the bed while Shaq has claimed another big bone for a treat.

Shaq will either retire after 2010 or go to a team desperate for his image/15-20 minutes a night. (Much like the Sonics did when they traded for Patrick Ewing)

No, Shaq IS blaming Phil Jackson this time around. Shaq says he and Kobe had no problems on the court, and he blames Phil for not taking both he and kobe into the office like school kids and telling them both to shut up. He says if Phil had intervened, things would have been resolved.

When told about it, Phil had a smile and a funny come back line. Phil asked ,"am I to blame for Shaqs atrocious free throw shooting too?" 😛

Key words are this time around. Shaq has been taking indirect and underhanded shots at Kobe since he left. Most famous was his rap blast.
