Shattered love- songs?

I was looking for alot of songs in which they talk about love and not being able to find it. I saw a thread here about break up songs, and would like to make my own as I feel it's rude to intterupt the other persons.

So how bout it folks? Some songs about not being able to find true love and looking for years. Oh, I don't like slow music, don't like rap either. So preferrably something like "Bring me to life" By Evanescence or mabye Limp Bizkit- Build a Bridge.

I dont have the lyrics handy, but the only one I could think of which comes to mind in the category you mentioned was "Looking For Love In All The Wrong Places".

I don't know whether I deleted my reply myself or a Moderator deleted it, but I could have swore I posted something in this thread earlier.

I was making a point about how most love songs are primarily slow songs, but if it's upbeat songs about looking for love that you want, I'll see what I can come up with.

I'm not sure you'll like my taste in music. I'm a child of the Sixties, a teenager of the Seventies, clueless as far as Today's stuff goes.

There's a song from 1970 called "Love Land", by Charles Wright & The Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band that is both upbeat and deals with someone looking for love. I'll try to find the lyrics for you.

I just looked closer at your first post... you want songs about someone looking for love who never seems to find it... man, that sounds like despair. Maybe this song doesn't fit after all. I'll keep looking.
