An old aunt was hanging a picture and stood back looking at it, and passed the comment to a friend "oh its a lovely sailing scene its the DB'S"

The friend said " oh my i bet the dog wasn't very pleased"

He then explained to her that in the uk DB'S means the dogs b------s

it an indication of something being the absolute best, maybe the term isn't used in the USA lol.

I would loved to have seen her face.

Um...the words, "dog's bullshit" translate to meaning (here in the USA) either the dog's literal fecal matter or the some aspect about the dog that makes people rather annoyed at it). I must say language must be changing astonishingly if bullshit is used to refer to something at it's absolute best.

I think that the original poster was referring to the phrase "dog's bollocks," which means approximately the same thing as "the bee's knees" 😉
