She-Hulk Breaks the 4th Wall Again

Sometimes I draw comic characters. It was nice to hear She-Hulk is getting some exposure in the upcoming fighting game sequel that I won't mention, as she's been one of the Marvel females I've always liked (particularly personality-wise). ^^

So, partially in honor of seeing Jennifer around again finally (and partially due to suggestions), here's a fun little comic-style action shot. Just a perspective view of the emerald amazon (lawyer) in the midst of a savage looking dropkick, about to literally burst through the '4th wall'. ^^

Not much background beyond an 'action burst', but I think the determined expression of Shulkie (and her powerful kicking activity) is more of the focus. Outfit-wise, I suppose this is a bit of a mix of her varied looks over the years, sorta.

I always love any foot attention that Shulkie brings and this is no exception! How delightful for her to be trying to break barriers with bare feet when she could have easily did it with shoes! But what fun would that be? LOL


I totally love the coloring and shading. It's really well done as is the line work on the green amazon...

What really would have made this truly epic would be super outrageous foreshortening with her feet drawn way larger than everything else to emphasize depth and classic comic exaggeration. How you've drawn everything is fine, but foreshortening would have increased the action scale of this worlds over!


Lovely work! More shulkie work needs to be done these days! 😀

Heh heh. Yeah, the 'footy' stuff fits Shulkie quite a lot in my book. I actually don't think shoes would matter if she was trying to break something down with a kick like this. 😉

Heh, I know what you mean by making the foreshortening EXTREME in this case. I think I layed off it a little merely to make sure you could see more of Jen's body other than just the 'foot focus' (for instance, I kinda like how I did her musculature on her arms and legs). Still, the soles are showing some forced perspect (they are 'larger') I think.

And yes, She-Hulk deserves more exposure. Such a fun character. 🙂
