Even if this Thornton guy is Sherman Helmsley's brother, wasn't it still completely up to Sherman Helmsley to decide whom to leave his estate to? Given that there is a will expressing the decedent's wishes, what more do they need? Why is Thornton even being given the time of day?

One also has to wonder what the poor guy was doing with only $50,000 to his name when he died. That may seem like serious money to some people--my net worth is considerably less than zero when you count student and plastic debt--but Jeez Louise, this man starred in one sitcom for 13 years, and then did more! WTF!

And now they can't even agree on where to bury him. I really hope that nobody spends even five minutes fighting over where to bury me when my time comes.

well im guessing he never got back pay for re-runs and as for the brother. Their is always a case where relatives fight over large sums of money. The court gets paid no matter who wins or who is right so most will have a hearing anyway.
