Shoes off at the door?

In norway we allways take of out shoes when going inside.
It's just the typical thing to do. We think it's strange to use shoes inside
your own home. Anyway...it's perfect for me as a foot fetishists. 😛
Especially when it seems like a new "fashion" for girls to walk barefoot in
theyre shoes here now.
:happyfloa

I used to have a clothing optional sticker on my front door. was kinda surprised when one of my female friends decided to take me up on it one hot summer afternoon.everyone else that was there that day was a bit surprised also😛 noone complained however...

I have to say that being the tropical person I am... once I made the pilgrimage to the mecca of surfing (Hawaii) I had done alot of changing. One of those was the implementation of the no shoes in the house/ apartment rule. I am also a fan of asian (more specifically japanese) culture, and they also do not wear outside shoes in the house. Like others have stated it creates more possibility of staining the carpet, and two, if you're going to be here for than a couple of minutes.... why not sit back, relax, and make yourself at home? It's not like I have an expensive carpet, but what i have I want to take care of. Seeing women's feet that are taken care of and look good would be a plus in that occasion, but not required. It doesn't matter, if they're wearing socks, that's fine, if they just had flip flops/ sandals/ etc on... that's fine too... guess it all depends on people's opinion... but to make it easier... I don't ask... I have a sign posted as you're walking in stating take your shoes off at the door don't take better ones on your way out. Mahalo... (hawaiian for thank you if you didn't already know)

Removing shoes at the door is standard procedure in most traditional Asian homes. It's a cultural thing, and has nothing to do with a foot fetish.

My shoes come off the moment I enter my home. I do this because it helps keep the carpet clean, and because I find it more comfortable.

I take off shoes, sometimes socks, when I go indoors. It's just more comfortable. It made it super easy to get used to doing so while I was over in Japan.... heh.

That said, I wouldn't mind if men and/or women took off their shoes in my house. ^^;

I wouldn't go as far as to call myself house proud, but I don't like mud on my carpet or shoes on my furniture, hence the shoes off at the door rule if you plan on staying here for more than a few minutes. I'm not sure if having a foot fetish has something to do with it, but I'm not complaining. My floor stays clean and maybe 20% of times i'll see something worth seeing 🙂

But my question is this, well actually its quite a few questions. How many of you guys have the same rule? and is it partly down to seeing what those shoes hold? Do you think its obvious? If you are known to have a foot fetish, is that what people will be thinking when they are expected to take their shoes off?

I realise that this isn't really tickling related, but for most tickling and feet go together like bread and butter, if it needs to be moved please do so.

Cheers

I have a shag rug in my bedroom, and to keep it clean I always ask people to remove their shoes before entering.

Me personally? I usually take off my shoes, but leave on my socks when entering someone else's home. Just seems more respectful to do so I suppose.

Yes my wife insists on this, but I don't mind. It's great seeing all the female feet in various attire, such as stockings, socks and bare , walking through my house. This has helped tremendously in getting many foot tickles in unsuspecting feet!
Since we are on the subject of removing shoes hell when I was younger I would insist that a female, whose feet I wanted to tickle, remove her shoes before she came into my car. I would have her hand me her shoe and I would joke and say I was going to hang it from the rear view mirror and then just before she got out I would ask to put them back on for her, then I would tickle her feet and drive her crazy!!!!!

I think it's simply good manners to take off your shoes when you enter a house, be it your own or someone else's - at our house, we just don't go beyond the foyer with our shoes on - my wife and children use slippers in the house - this has nothing to do with tickling - I will admit that the appearance of a young lady in my house, though, does get my fantasies and foot tickling fetish going - but that's the same everwhere I go.

Good Idea

Taking the shoes off when you come in is a good way to keep the floors clean. Many people do this. It's a cultural thing in some countries (such as Japan). Some Japanese restaurants have customers remove their shoes upon entry. It's not a rule where I live (I am rentin a room now). But I usually wear slippers around the house, and my girlfriend likes to take her shoes off right away when she comes over. When I get my own apartment or house, it will be a rule to remove shoes upon entry (to keep the floors clean).
