Hey everyone. I wanted to report something that's been happening to me re: buying tickling media online. I won't mention any names.

But . . . what would you say about a particular retailer that appears to be "forgetting" to send me what I rightfully paid for? Now, I tend to buy multiple items at a time when it comes to videos, video clips, and other electronic media. So, on multiple occasions, I usually get my stuff, but part of the order is missing or just not sent with the rest.

Now, I usually just zip over an email, and they makes things right. But, I can't help but wonder that these all can't be acts of forgetfulness. I can see it happen once, twice - we all make mistakes, but now its becoming a question of ripping me off (whether its intentional or not).

Am I making too much of this? Is it shady business or sloppy business? Would you be like me and be hesitant to buy from them again? And if so, should I call this person out to warn others?

Thanks for the input...

Hound

Depend on the company. If it's one that is dealing to a large amount of people, then these things happen and they've been good about making sure you get your material when you report the mistake. If it's a smaller-scale company, you could keep an eye out, but as I said it seems as though they've been good about their mistakes, so I wouldn't worry about it too much =)

Buy from someone else. I own/run my own business and if i "forgot" stuff all the time i wouldnt make any money and would have zero clients. Thats just plain terrible customer service.

yeah but if this is a large buisness they have a lot of orders. Then if they shipped several boxes it may not even be the company's fault it could be the postal service.
