Of all the methods to tickle a foot mentioned in this forum,I still think the most pleasing method to both perform and observe is the simple index finger stroke back and forth slowly from heel to toes.(Particularly a healthy smooth sole at the extreme center [arch]).
The response from the lee is,hopefully, a sustained controlled period of giggling.(Although some lees might try to escape immediately or not be as effected as if you spider tickled or raked your fingers over their feet).
I think I've always like that method because as a kid I'd try to sneak a foot tickle in with that quick stroke up and down before the girl could react. The Popeye cartoon where Olive oyl gets her foot tickled by Bluto has always stuck in my mind.Bluto uses that index finger on her and her laughs and giggles amused me quite alot.(Even the cats licking her feet from heels to toes in the other cartoon was amusing).
My question to lees would be: To those of you who are sensitive to this method:How long does it tickle before the sensation wanes and tactics need to be changed?
