He was great at Woodstock,.... always one of my favorite musicians. 68,...... jeez.

It's only last summer that I discovered Ten Years After's music through two albums : "Watt" & "Cricklewood green" - very nice albums, by the way. Alvin was meant to do a concert in April in Paris, and I was planning to see him live. That's how you know recods are a great thing - you can live and live again works of musicians who are not there anymore. RIP Mr Lee, thanks for the great music.

Saw Alvin many times in concert and once with Ten Years After when they reunited back in 1989.

Fantastic guitarist, he will be sorely missed.

Alvin Lee was always known for his Woodstock appearance and playing blues-rock, but he was also a damn good jazz guitar player:
