I'm not sure how normal people see it since I've never been one of them, but from what I can tell, a lot of people like to at least mess with people, flirt, etc., using tickling, so I'm thinking the temptation is there for them too, but just for all different reasons. Also, how often is the average person just happening to come across someone, bare stomach and hands tied? 😆 That seems like more of a fetish/kink thing to me haha.

definitely not!! I can tell u for sure that many ppl automatically jump to one thought when they see a particularly bared abdomen thats stretched out and especially if its immobilized ,
same goes for soles

obvz if they are rlly cute it amplifies it

but I have seen loads of times ppl fixating and zooming in on that sight and also a lot of ppl suggesting tickling either in actual words or actions

Many non-fetishists think of tickling in situations like that, but it totally depends upon the individual and the specifics of the situation. While ticklephiles are much more sensitive to the situations where there is a higher vulnerability to tickling, at some level, the potential for the urge to tickle is embedded in all of us as a means of mischievous play and social connection. From childhood, we're trained to look for threats, weakness, and opportunities. Tickling affords our brains a relatively safe way to learn some of those skills in a deep, meaningful, and memorable way. It is instinctive. Like with many instincts, however, not everyone's are finely tuned or highly active. Some people don't think about it unless the state of vulnerability is overwhelmingly obvious, while others will see someone reaching overhead for something and feel compelled to give at least a quick poke.

Many, maybe most, "vanilla" people like to tickle friends and family, just as teasing. And of course tickling is common in flirting and foreplay among people who don't necessarily think of it sexually.

Back when I was in school there was a girl in my class who if one of her friends stretched around her or yawned with their arms in the air she would tickle them most times. I dont think she had any special interest in tickling and she just saw it as something funny to do but I am grateful fir her because I was able to find out a number of girls on my class were ticklish as a result

There are definitely a lot of people who consider a perfect flat tummy and cute belly button attractive, with no connection to our little hobby. The midriff-bearing crop top shirt for women has come back into fashion in the last few years for that very reason.

As odd as this may sound to admit, to this day when a woman with a nice body in short shirt reaches upward to reveal her belly button whether it's for an airplane overhead bin, or in a stretch / yawn, or for any other reason, my eyes automatically dart to her midsection.
