does anyone here have one? what good are they?
every time i see these 3 cylinder clown cars i think "death trap"
i need something that i can carry more than a bag of groceries in.
i don't care how much they save on gas.

your thoughts good or bad.

the hollywood brother think it might be a good concept but it is executed badly. first of all why od they make these cars so small and crappy looking. if you want to make a impact, then why not make them have cool car bodies with convertible or t tops on them. also you need a trunk big enough not only to carry groceries but also to tie up and put a few lees in there comfortably like they did in the goodfellas movie. the other thing is people like the feel of power and the hollywood brother has heard that these smart cars are not smart enough to be fast for long highway drives. the hollywood brother also thinks that if you is calling them smart then they should be smart enough to do sometihng better or more than a regular automobile

the hollywood brother do not want to sound like the hollywood brother is mocking people who like them. it is just not at this point are these cars for the hollywood brother. the hollywood brother says that if whoever makes these smart cars were smart then why not put them in the car body of a trans am, a firebird, a caddy or a classic thunderbird to make them more appealing to all walks of ticklish life

I remember seeing the first Honda Civics in 1974 or so and thinking that they were little more than motorized shopping carts which would vaporize in a collision with a dog. I rode in a friend's '77 Toyota Corolla and had to put the front seat all the way back so I could get my head inside the car. Hondas and Toyotas are a lot more civilized now, having had three decades to put things right. I suspect things will follow a similar course with the "smart cars".

Someone says "I want a car with great gas mileage" and someone says "Here is a car with 3 cylinders, very light and great gas mileage" when in reality we are thinking Mustang performance with Civic mileage.

I've seen one on my commute once to work and I think I can safely say that at my size (6'3-3/4"), I don't think I could get IN one of those 'toy' cars, let alone drive one...
