So I'm going to pee my pants tonight! Haunted Houses.

Over a year ago steph sent me a message regarding what is supposedly the best haunted house in the country asking if I'd ever been to it. It's called The Haunt and it's in Grand Rapids. She'd heard of it WAY over on the other side of the country.

Since it seems that I'm spending a lot of time in GR lately I decided to hit up some friends and see if they were interested in going. My best girl told me she'd been there already and while she loves horror stuff she found herself riding piggyback on the guy she was dating kicking and hitting him yelling "go! go!". Supposedly, SERIOUSLY scary shit.

I'll let you all know if it's as good as they say it is. I startle really easily so this is a completely masochistic experience for me.

Anyone else love scaring the piss out of themselves just for kicks?

Me! I do! I do! I'm ready to visit our haunted houses this year. All I do is find the biggest, strongest guy and hold onto him for dear life. I don't pee my pants or anything, but there's something kinda fun about getting scared out of your wits from time to time.

We're bringing two big strong guys just for that purpose. I LOVE this stuff. It's going to rock. If I make it without a fatal Myocardial Infarction that is.

i would love to..however i also would need a big strong guy..so i could hide my face at times..but i won't pee my pants.. lolol..i've never walked through a haunted house..only rode through some at Kennywood..o wait, in highschool, the Key Club had a haunted house..and yes i walked through that..not very scary however..

I just visited one of the best I've seen, Talon Falls in Paducah, Ky...it looks like a small town consisting of a butcher shop with a TCM theme, a carnival of evil, and (best part) a crypt full of gothic vampire chicks, which inspired me to write my current literary masterpiece. I even had my pic taken with one of the vampire girls, which I hope to have scanned soon...

Anyhow, I have noticed that most actors at these things do target the women...they leave me alone, because I'm 6'4", 250 lbs... in fact, one ghoul actually said 'excuse me' to me as he made his way over to a girl in front of me. This place even offered me a job there, and I may do it the last couple weekends of Oct., if circumstances permit. It's nice that someone appreciates my creativity...

Oh I love to scare myself to near death. Though I prefer to do it on purpose, at like a haunted house, some haunted site, or like a TV show; not the real psycho is outside my house type.

I would go in a heartbeat. The next time I am in AZ, I am going down to Tombstone overnight, it's supposed to be pretty freaky....

Haunted houses rule. We have quite a few out here, but Knott's Berry Farm's annual Halloween Haunt is by far the best.

Oh god, Pawz....Ghost Hunters did their investigation at Tombstone on their show this week, and the place was busting at the seams with activity! It kicked SO much ass. I wanna check it out myself, even if I would likely pass out from fright if I actually saw something! LOL

I don't really do the haunted houses thing, but I get a kick out of scaring myself. I'm a big Stephen King fan. I appreciate a good horror movie (though good horror movies are very, very rare). And, I love the Silent Hill video game series. (Hell, my desktop image is the Pyramid Head painting).

Oh yeah, I don't usually scream when I get scared, I just make funny noises. Sometimes I do lash out, but usually I just scare the crap outta them with my "ready for anything" positions.

I'm not around when Ghost Hunters is on, I am either asleep or at work. Kinda sucks balls, but oh well. At least the 13 days to Halloween starts next weekend! *gets out the pizza, sodie, ice cream and anything else yummy* bring it on!!

I usually ended up clinging to the nearest male, even i didn't no him lolol! Very embarrassing on several occasions. I have visited the Whaley House right here in Old Town a few times and that was really fun seeing where they used to live.

Yes, Isabeau, you are among the minority that doesn't think me demented. But I think I pretty much sent all my completed stories to you. I'll see if I can find anything else that I don't remember sending to you. However, the first half of the gothic vampire chick story I mentioned will be completed soon... though a lot of it is setting things up for the second half, which will probably be much better with lots of cobwebs, coffins, crypts, mist, and of course, gorgeous vampire girls. I also got about half a dozen other story ideas from Talon Falls...

Anyway, back to the place, I have a bad-ass werewolf mask and claws...add some torn clothes and theatrical blood and I think I'll be good to go. Hopefully they'll put me near the vampire's crypt...after all, werewolves and vampires do go together, no?

A few friends of mine did this a lot to girls in my school, when we would go to haunted houses in theme parks they would take them to the haunted house and scare the crap out of them, of course this did not bold well for me b/c who do you think had to deal with all the girls around him? yeah me, 🙄 on second thought maybe that was not such a bad idea, lol 🙂 . I remember a few times I would enter the house fine but leave with marks on my arm and shoulder. That was not so fun 🙄 So I guess it dose not always pay to be the good guy 🙄

And then they just go and completely knock your socks off. WOW. And I mean WOOOOOWWWWW. The five of us in the ended were a tangled up mess of people pretty indistinguishable from the other. I've never seen anything like it. I have bruises... so do my friends... just from each other.

Tamia- you would have never survived the clowns. Suddenly Stephen King's IT looks as cuddly as my kitty kat.

I can't wait to go again next year!!!!!

Yeah, that attachment looked pretty innocent compared to my guy. It was WAY trippy with 3D glasses and blacklight paint. I can only imagine that that is what a bad acid trip must be like.
