So... This is AI now. Feet tickling with Google's Veo 3.

So I just got access to Veo 3 via Google's AI Pro subscription and I thought I'd share this short clip I generated. It generates both video and audio, so you get the sound of the brush scrubbing her soles and some pretty nice laughter. The tickling looks a little clumsy at times, but the movement looks realistic. It's crazy how good this is for something generated with just a prompt. You're supposed to be able to insert dialogue, so I prompted the tickler to say "hold them still!" but unfortunately she just speaks some gibberish at the end lol.

I will say that if you want to try this, since it's Google, it's heavily censored and it's pretty difficult to get it to generate this kind of stuff. Can be done with creative and persistent experimenting with prompts, though.

We're probably only a few years away from being able to simply prompt our craziest fantasies once other companies catch up. It's a mad world we're living in.

That would be amazing. I have gotten celebrities to work on Imagen 3 with creative prompting, but the tickling never looked quite right. The likeness was spot on, though. No such luck with Imagen 4 or Veo, though.

Yeah, not looking forward to a world where AI can generate basically any type of tickling scenario.

We're going to get to the point in society where nobody knows what's real or what's fake anymore. It will create madness and chaos and push a lot of people over the edge. Cool videos, but not a fan.

I mean think about it. Forrest Gump was like... the 90s and they had deep fakes then of Kennedy/Tom Hanks spliced in and it was believable.

You can deepfake already with "home technology", but cannot really sell it on platforms.

Veo 3 is the state of the art, unless we make pretty hardcore progress in efficiency we are not going to run that at home in the next 10 years.

For now I'm not too worried, and I could potentially interested in AI as a tool to make better video (fixing errors or creating set pieces).

I feel the same as you, but I struggle to find a difference. The only thing for me is that "it's too easy", I cannot enjoy something that I could do myself

Tools are there if you have a good graphics card. I think it will be way less good than veo3, but every week something crazy comes out with AI
