Just wanted to share a news story that happened here in Tucson this week. On September 25th, Army Spc. Robert Oliver Unruh, 25, lost his life under enemy fire in Baghdad. This past Saturday morning, October 2nd, his mother Karen had gone to view his body. Later that evening, she collapsed in the kitchen. Despite her husband's efforts to revive her (a respiratory therapist, as was she), she died just before midnight. She was 45 years old. Both her and her son will be honored at a visition tonight.
Words can't describe how I feel about this... maybe this belongs in the politics forum, but I thought people uninterested in politics should see this. I hope the bigwigs in Washington, D.C. hear about this.
